Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 455
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hi all!
On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the most chaos, where’s your decorating currently at?
Today I went out for a coffee so I could get a break from looking at it all… egads. I’m in the minus… I need to focus and get at it!
Thing is, I’ve been busy creating smaller projects so I have something to decorate WITH! So kudos to me, right?
This past week, I whipped up two pretty cute Christmas pillows and some chunky, safe rustic wood candles. So I’m getting there…
My future self is really looking forward to everything in its place so I can sit and enjoy it all… can you relate?
And goodness… you guys are killin’ it out there. Check out these beautiful features from last week’s party…
Lampshade Christmas tree by Bilijana Shabby
This lovely lampshade Christmas tree rendition certainly has a charming vintage vibe, does it not? So adorable.
Scrabble tile Christmas Tree by Homeroad
I’m loving the coloured scrabble tile message on this sweet wooden tree… super cool twist!
We could all use some friends that drop hundreds scrabble tiles off to us like they do for Susan… I’m taking notes!
Rustic Christmas tree star ornament by Homeroad
These sweet rustic stars are certainly perfectly themed to hang on a Christmas tree with that clever design! Full stencil details are inside this post.
You Cut Christmas tree saw sign by Organized Clutter
So, that You Cut sign? It isn’t a sign board at all. Read up what it really was. I had NO idea they even made them in this shape! Certainly completes this mini Christmas tree farm vignette doesn’t it?
Pallet wood Christmas Noel wreath sign by Knick of Time
If you love a 3D touch to your signs, best to read this post and do what Angie did. This is GORGEOUS!
Mini wooden Christmas tree with light ornaments by The Boondocks Blog
HOW CUTE! This makes me want to go collect vintage glass bulbs so I can do the same somewhere.
Shiny Brites Christmas tree on a screen by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S
And if I had shiny brites on me, I’d want to do this to a screen too. I think it’s high time I start hunting for some… loving this vibe!
What have you made this past week? Link up below!
~ Blah blah linkup rules ~
1. Upcycled, DIY home decor projects only please. Items for sale must be in tutorial form on your blog. NO FOOD NOR NEW CRAFTS please.
2. Linkups must be your own work, not another’s.
3. Only projects new to this link party please, to keep things fresh. Repeats may be deleted.
4. By linking up here, you’re cool with me featuring you on my blog, Pinterest, Twitter, FJI Facebook with a link back to you, or its own new LINK WIDGET with no additional permission required.
5. No need to link back to the party! Would love it if you pinned the first gallery picture instead. Thank-you!
Think I’m at about an 8!But I’m not only working on small projects to decorate with, I’m working on big things to hang on the wall…which then I can decorate! Tomorrow is the day…??
Thank you, always, Donna for your 455th DIY Salvaged Junk Projects. Loving your new Christmas stencils.
Joy
Thanks for your visit Joy! Glad you’re enjoying the new designs, it’s been a blast watching what others are creating with them!
I could only wish I had wall space to hang something big… I can’t wait to see what you come up with, Lora!
I’m probably at a 6 maybe 7 if I get my butt into gear this weekend 😀 Thanks so much for hosting the party Donna, it’s always so much fun to see the incredible things bloggers are doing
I’m impressed Michelle… that’s a good score. I’m about to get offline and see what I can do about my -50 rating. haha Thanks for your visit!
Donna thanks so much for the feature. And don’t worry about the decorating. I supposedly finished a few weeks ago and even now I’m not satisfied and am moving things around. We are never done. Haha!
My mantel is already looking tired and that’s the only feature I got done so your theory is proving to be correct here too! haha
My decorating is at a 0 my baking, shopping, cleaning is at a 10! I’d much rather decorate than do the later which explains the rating. Love your features this week, Donna and hope you’re having a great weekend so far.
Haha! I haven’t baked for Christmas in YEARS. That would be plural. I tend to eat everything in sight even if I store it in the freezer. However I have been craving a few old favs, so maybe… Good for you on the shopping and cleaning though! That’s huge!
Thanks for hosting, Donna, and for featuring my cutting board tree sign project! I am loving the new Christams stencils!
My pleasure Carlene! You are totally doing the new stencils justice, so thank YOU for your amazing creativity with them! Your new projects are just blowing me away…
Thank you for another great party Donna!
Thanks for the feature & Merry Christmas to you Donna!
wow what inspiring ideas this week!! it’s nice to be able to share a project here again – thank you, Miss Donna, for letting me know that a link to a Pinterest board of my latest projects works for the party 😉 the photos don’t show up here as sharp as on a blog link, but i can live with that. Happy Holidays!!! ~ deb (formerly of homewardFOUND)
