Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 519
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hi friends!
So last week the temps were so cold, I refused to go outside. This week is SUMMER! Crazy! But I’m so grateful for the good weather so I have my outdoor playground to enjoy. We all need happy diversions to keep our spirits up while playing it safe.
What to do while staying home this summer – Funky Junk Interiors
I also decided to share a post that spoke about how I was feeling about things, and how I plan to move forward, filled with ideas on what to do at home if you’re also spinning your wheels with worry. It’s no place to be!
So give this post a read if you need a little guidance. It shares a list of ideas, HOW to get inspired to do those things, with sample project links to really get you moving.
Being that we have two more days of gorgeous weather, I’m going to do something outdoorsy today! Maybe it’s gut the garage… weed the garden… or pressure wash. Regardless, I’ll share what I’ve been doing in my yard this past week on the blog next week, so stay tuned!
How are you doing with everything? What positive direction have you applied to your own life at the moment?

Stamped message spring books by Dragon Fly Treasure
Old books are a dime a dozen in thrift stores, so why not grab a few that have seen better days, and create little spring book stack stamped or stenciled with some messages of your own? Adorable! Visit the blog post for more details.
Jute carrot banner by Homeroad
You will not believe how easy these charming carrot banners are to make! Click the post link to see these hung up… they are adorable both ways!
Tulip tool box planter by Penny’s Vintage Home
A charming old toolbox becomes a beautiful centrepiece when teamed up with a few spring tulips! But don’t worry if yours aren’t blooming yet… this post shares a great cheat! Visit the link to check out the entire front porch, all ready for spring!

Thanks for the feature. Stay safe, Donna!
Beautiful bunch of creative ideas! I’ve been taking advantage of the “please stay at home” we have and working on project indoors. Finally got some wood shelves put up in my guest/craft room. What a difference it makes to get the boxes of supplies off the tables and bed. (Also gave me time to order some metal gym locker type crates from Bed Bath & Beyond!) I did help the dog search for squirrels in the backyard while cleaning out one of my flower beds. Its still kind of cold here, but my patio looks nice and clean now! Always love to see new creative ideas and your page never disappoints! Hang in there – we’ll all get through this together!
Hugs ☻♥
