Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 532
.
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Helloooo!
How are you?! I think I’m just super happy because our weather has been hot and sunny! We’ve had one of the wettest Junes on record thus far on the west coast of BC so I’ll take whatever I can get!
I had one of the MOST epic bike rides yesterday that I can’t wait to share. It was 4 hours on the trails in some new areas, and team up hitting two food trucks on the way home, well… doesn’t get better than good food I don’t have to cook and gorgeous scenery!
But this past week I also shared a BIG improvement in my workshop that took a little bit of time… but so worth it!
General Store junk-filled workshop cubby with paint shelf extension by Funky Junk Interiors
This crazy cool and massive cubby was buried in a corner of my workshop. So I rolled up my sleeves, did some serious purging, painted the walls and got this thing filled up with my rusty junk collection!
Isn’t it a beauty? This post also shares how to make a super easy paint can shelf and how to antique a painted General Store sign.
With more to come! I now have a dynamite brainstorm on those white melamine cabs…
Moving onto your own projects, I already know I want to junk up a birdhouse among other ideas floating around thanks to these super cool projects from last week’s party…

Tania
Your workshop cubby is fabulous, Donna! What I’d do to have something like that in mine. The sun is finally out over here too so this girl is heading outside. I wish I had gorgeous trails like you to go biking on. Unfortunately here it means loading up the bike on the car and driving. Happy trails this weekend, Donna 🙂
Thank you so much for the feature Donna!
Such cool projects featured. I need to learn how to embroider, and that junky birdhouse!
Also, awesome job on your organized, junkified garage/workshop.:)
