Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 553
.
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hello there!
How’s your Christmas preparation coming along? Or are you hanging tough until December?
I started working on some smaller projects that I’ll eventually incorporate into my Christmas home tour… and two of them went up on the blog this past week!
Scrap wood tree farm Christmas decor with stencils by Funky Junk Interiors
Some wood scraps inspired me to create this year’s scrap wood tree idea! And it was so simple, I may make more!
What I love most about this kind of project is that ANY wood scrap will work! And how cool that these new stencils were the perfect fit!
Crate-style Hot Cocoa Bar Christmas sign by Funky Junk Interiors
Every Christmas I come up with a new Hot Cocoa station idea, and since my kitchen is small, this new sign teamed up with a new compact design will be the PERFECT fit! On reclaimed wood, it resembles being made out of a crate end! Click the post to see it as a Christmas tray as well!
And now I’m about to repaint my livingroom and kitchen before get everything out of storage… I do this every year so don’t mind me as I do the polar opposite of the rest of the world here… haha
Let’s head over your way now to see what you’ve been up to from last week’s party…

Yes, the Christmas creating has begun! I had fun with scrap wood this week too! Doing some deep down cleaning today to make way for the Christmas decor…I’d much rather be sanding in the driveway:(

Thank you, Donna, for the buffalo check ornament feature! This weekend we’re adding a little Christmas to our home, a little early but nothing goes as normally planned in 2020. Have a great weekend!
