Happy junk weekend!
This week has been a complete blur. I’m attempting to plan some major changes in the kitchen and with quotes and running into town snooping for the right gear, well, let’s just say I know what town has to offer these days at the very least!
I’ve also been doing a lot of furniture shuffling to breathe new life into rooms. I’m loving the changes so I will have lots to share soon! But let’s just say, my kitchen island looks completely different these days and all I did was move it!
But I did share one project this past week I am completely in LOVE with…
Woodgrain grain sacked chair revamp by Funky Junk Interiors
I wanted to try my hand at a woodgrain grain sack stripe and this wooden stacking chair was the perfect place for it! My plans had been to let these these 2 chairs but I love how the first one turned out SO much I’m taking my time with that decision… oh dear… here we go again…
Since that’s the only post I shared this past week (blame the big shuffle!), here’s some genius highlights from last week’s party to fuel you with loads more creativity!

I love your chairs!
I’m glad you are going to keep them 🙂

thank you so much for including my floral painted hearts in your feature, Miss Donna! truth is, i had some old kinda’ rusty heart-shaped cake tins that i *thought* about painting – but i just couldn’t bring myself to change them, so i used the Dollar Tree tins & plastic hearts instead. it would be a great way to give new life to old banged up tins that someone COULD bring themselves to paint!
and you know me, i just have to do things differently than everyone else, so i used the sunny yellow color i am so enamored of right now. glad you liked them!
i really LOVE your chairs! i’m curious: did you paint both of them the same, or did you maybe ‘flip’ the paint & stained area on the second chair? that would be a terrific pairing!
Hello good morning Dona, haha … yes now and good morning for me and you I think it’s the night. Thank you so much for choosing my heart made of plastic caps. Everyone and I apparently loved your chair. And pretty simple. I really love it. kisses
Thank you so much for featuring my Valentine art!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you do in your kitchen. Have a great weekend.
I love your grain sack chairs, Donna! Thank you for featuring my crazy bird feeder idea, much appreciated. Have a great weekend. xo
Hello! I’m always happy when I get to join this party – it’s only a handful of times a year, but I have loved your blog for a long time! Happy Valentine’s Day, a bit early… 🙂
So glad you like and featured my grazing sheep Donna! Thank you!
I am sure looking forward to seeing your kitchen reveal. Hope the “snooping” in town was successful, lol!
