DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 564

Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Brrrr…. On the west coast of Canada, we are experiencing extremely frigid temperatures! We are a somewhat fragile bunch as we don’t experience temps under zero very often! But thanks to the deep chill, it’s been keeping me huddled inside doing inside stuff!
With that in mind, I managed to get a BIG project off my list and I couldn’t be more pleased!
Painting a concrete floor white in a photo studio by Funky Junk Interiors
Welcome to my new and improved photo studio… that just got a makeover! Freshened up walls, molding, and the biggest change of all, a beautiful bright white floor… something I’ve wanted forever! Come on over and take a peek and see where most of my photos come from!
I also managed to cook up a new project shooting it in the studio this week too, which I’ll be sure to share early next week! It was just so nice to be able to shoot without dodging major paint splatters for a change. LOL
I’m also busy designing some new stencils, so I hope to have something new to share as well soon!
So until all the new stuff becomes avail, let’s peek in at some of your newest super creative upcycled projects from last week’s party…

It’s been dangerously cold here this week with temperatures into the -30C. I’m wearing layers INSIDE the house! Hope we both have warmer weeks coming up. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I have been saving belts for years to make a belt wreath, but now I’m thinking I should make a tray or ?. Never occurred to me to try something else with them since I had the other idea in my head.
Thank you for hosting the party. Have a great weekend. Stay warm! Trying to stay dry here in Georgia. We’ve had soooo much rain & won’t see the sun for a few days.
Thank you, Donna! Love seeing my tray here, but love all the ideas even more!
High of -2 here for 4 days! Yipes:( Hard to get motivated for anything creative! Thanks for hosting, Donna. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Fantastic upcycles! Love the use of the leather belts. So cool!
Stay cozy Donna. 🙂
Donna, you have really been busy with that floor! Looks so much better! Thanks for the feature on my chalkboard and desk boxes!
