An outdoor fall yard tour
Take a fall tour of my yard HERE
Since our likely last heat wave has yet again broken, my mountain ash tree is reminding me that fall is right around the corner. The orange berries are nearly ready to drop, which means it turns into a local feeding frenzy for the birds! Not ideal since my picture window is near. So once again, it’s time to think of things that will keep the birds from my window. Any ideas on what works?

And they were purchased and assembled HERE
And fall. I guess. All I find myself wanting to do is clean everything before thinking of the next season. Do you go through that too? In fact, I think I’m going to pull off all the sofa slipcovers and get them washed up today as it’s a good windy day to dry them on the line! Hmm… this may be a good day to get a Part 3 on my Ikea slipcovered sofas story, and that is how I maintain the covers…

Plus, this just may encourage me to decorate for fall and get a few fall projects on the go too… we can hope!
This was yet another busy week offline, so I once again forgave myself for this season I currently am in, and will simply raise my hot coffee up to your own projects you brought over this fine, creative weekend. Thank-you. Once again.

Craft easy and adorable pom pom gnomes
Pom pom gnomes by Creatively Beth

Painted hex barn quilt on reclaimed wood
Painted hex barn quilt fragment by Surface Anthology
Well now, the idea of reclaimed wood and paint to create this pretty and rustic barn quilt fragment certainly caught my attention! Adore how it’s easy to customize with colors or size. Fun piece that could be used for decor or is, or perhaps add a few hooks to hang up your keys!

Good morning! Thanks for including my Hexie Barn Quilt😊 I had a lot of fun making this and am so glad you like it!
Thanks so much for featuring our koi side table Donna!
Re, the birds, I’ve read about sticking predator silhouettes in the window to prevent the birds from flying into the glass, but haven’t heard if that works. I think the trick is actually to cut the reflection. If you can temporarily put something in front of the glass, like a matte translucent panel so you don’t block your light but remove the reflection, that might work. Do you have anything left over from when you redid your patio roof?
THANKS a BUNCH, Donna for featuring my Pom Pom Gnomes! They were so FUN to make. Have an awesome week!
Creatively, Beth
