Well hello there! I didn’t mean to disappear this past week… however the week started with landing a 60 gallon fish tank on Facebook Marketplace. Gulp.
As you can imagine, the stand that came with the tank would not do in my rustically decorated home. So I took it upon myself to study DIY fish tank stands that would hold at least 1000 lbs. No joke here… I had to get it right the first time.
As of Thursday evening, the new-old tank was filled up and it, the stand and the fish look very happy! So of course I’ll share how I built the tank base with my own rustic twist next week because it’s unlike anything I’ve seen out there yet… gotta love it when a real need fits in perfectly for the ‘ol blog too!
Sign up HERE so you will be emailed the new fish tank project once it’s posted!
So while I recuperate from working on that project and for a solid week, (yikes!), let’s drool over some much quicker and super cool upcycled projects you can make with some being under an hour…
