New Upcycle Ideas 731
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend!
I’ve been working on a side flowerbed, but couldn’t seem to get it to completion. So I challenged myself to make a cute stenciled garden sign to bring it all together, which triggered the right response! Suddenly I’m putting in way more effort to bring the area to fruition so something actually looks finished, plus I have something to share here!
Egads, my projects of late seem to go sooooo slow, yet I don’t seem to have any issues when someone else challenges me! Are you aware I’ve been filming projects for Hometalk? SO many new challenges have me working in new ways, and it’s been so invigorating! Most of the videos land on their social medias however some make it to my Hometalk account HERE that they transcribe into blog posts.
The first project I did was create pin legs from paper towel holders in THIS side table post, and another one I really loved is THIS hoola hoop table! I’ll let you know once I’ve created a way to share them all with you from one spot!
I think it’s safe to say, the challenges have really opened up my eyes to new ways to create, so now I need to work on challenging MYSELF… to be continued.
Luckly, we have before us a brand new lineup of upcycles heading your way, so let’s check out these fabulous upcycled project features from last week’s link party…

Reclaimed wood garden trellis by Creatively Moments
Speaking of gardens, have you noticed the viral cattle panel arbours that are going up in gardens all over? Well, you don’t have to spend big bucks to get that look. Grab some reclaimed wood and simple wire fencing and create your own using what you have! I’m going to be following along to see how this style looks filled up because this method is right up my alley!
Wooden candle sconce to decorative shelf with flowers
Wooden wood candle sconce makeover by Little Vintage Cottage
You know those tall, skinny wooden candle sconces that basically come with no personality? Here’s a super whimsical way to reimagine what they could look like with this much more interesting, decorative wall art piece! I adore how the candle holder was flipped into a mini flower vase! This project has so many additions such as creating with air dry clay.
