New Upcycle Ideas 738
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Well, this would be considered a big week in my neck of the woods. 5 new stencils have just been released, and here’s a new project with one of them!
Easy DIY bird feeding station
I started getting into bird feeders earlier this summer, and after a little trial and (lots of) error, I finally figured out a plan. My shed is now officially themed around my new birding hobby, thanks to this new bird feeding station with a little bit of everything!
My most fav thing to do with coffee in the AM is sit outside and watch over my feathered friends to see the bustle of activity that makes this feeder positively spin! Birds are said to be good for a garden as they take care of pests we don’t want, so I’m all for that benefit too! Cute setup, don’t you think? Are you into bird feeders too? Let me know what kind of gear you have!
And of course, I have lots more play to do, so stay tuned to see THESE 5 new stencil designs come to life with other projects!
We’re also hitting on some higher temps again, so I quickly mowed my lawn during sunset last night so I could wake up and see it beautiful. And it was worth every drop of sweat! Weekend, here we come!
So while we embark on all things fun, let’s also check out this week’s upcycled project features from last week’s party to get things started… and because I couldn’t stop myself, there’s 5 features this week because… well, I had to! You’ll soon see why…

DIY concrete birdbath or planter
Concrete bowl birdbath or planter by Sonata Home Design
This concrete birdbath project couldn’t have come at a more perfect time! I was getting annoyed that I couldn’t land an affordable concrete birdbath so I’d have to probably make one somehow… and here’s how! I LOVE how this turned out! This can also double as a planter… can you imagine? And isn’t that colouring something? Time to hunt for my needed supplies so I can update my new birding hobby area…
Chicken wire and button peace sign suncatcher
DIY button and chicken wire suncatcher by Birdz of a Feather

Vintage dustpan chicken art
Metal dustpan chicken art by Little Vintage Cottage
Oh goodness. I love chickens and I love rust, so combine the two and you get this adorable chicken dustpan art! I love the vintage vibe going on, but those chickens need to be professionally printed on things! Lots and lots of things! Seriously Tania, do it before someone else does! Society6 can get you started…
Whimsical miniature laundry room on a wall
Miniature laundry room by Studio 27 by Jennifer Adams
If you love a world of whimsy, set right up to this amazing creation and study it well, so you too can make your own miniature laundry room…. or dollhouse details, or whatever you wish it to be! It’s like 3D art on a wall. Precious!!!!! I want one.
DIY crate side table with faux clay hardware
Wooden crate side table with faux hardware by A Crafty Mix
Welcome to another Michelle creation where ‘what you see is NOT what you think!’ No, this is not a ready-made cabinet. It’s a crate, with faux hardware. And much more! What genius ideas to create custom hardware on other things as well! You can bet I’m taking notes on this one…

I love the bird setup that you have. I too, like to sit in the morning and watch my feathered friends. They splash around in my birdbath, and I also have two hummingbird feeders out. It’s always so nice to see them come around as well. Thank you for hosting this wonderful party. Have a great weekend!
