Greetings all!
Moments before I built this post, I just published my newest office makeover that took nearly 20 years to complete!
Budget Friendly Office Decor Ideas: with DIY wood desk and painted floors
What was suppose to only be a simple dresser makeover turned into a full office reveal, ripping up carpets, painting walls and floor, then gutting and cleaning the entire space.
And now I’m too tired to work in the space. LOL However after the weekend, I’m going to be raring to go in my cozy new space that was made over for absolutely free! Come on over for the grand tour to see how I repurposed what I had to make it sing!
I’ve also finished a challenging puzzle. (see my puzzle section on Amazon HERE) Goodness I love to unwind doing those! Another fav way to relax is catching a series on Netflix. If you haven’t yet watched 1883, this is your sign to do so. VERY good and unexpected twist to this extension to Yellowstone that is really nothing like it at all.
And next week I’ll start working on some new stencil designs in my pretty new office which was delayed because of the makeover. No. More. Excuses. Now!
Now that we’ve caught up these unique features from last week’s party, then get onto the new additions!

Industrial light cage flower frogs
Light cage flower frogs by Homeward Found Decor
Be on the lookout for light cages, because they are now apparently the newest flower frog with an industrial twist! I LOVE this look! And the function is perfection. Deb also shares some great cut daffodile tips you’ll want to take in before trying this to ensure they last as long as possible!
Paper towel tube hanging flowers
Hanging flowers using paper towel rolls by Crazy Little Lovebirds
Be sure to save those paper towel tubes so you too can create some adorable mini hanging flower baskets! How incredibly cute are these! I love how they can be customized as desired, plus you can really add anything you wish… faux flowers, succulents… or how about real air plants? That would be fun to try! Learn all the details how to make your own in this post!
Unique pool noodle flower vase
Pool noodle flower vase by Purple Hues and Me
After landing some lovely lavender pool noodles at a local dollar store, Gail couldn’t resist taking some home. Then promptly came up with an incredibly unique way to use pool noodles as a flower vase base, bejeweled no less! This is a really clever idea that can easily be painted in any colour desired, and used for flowers, plants, or how about a lampshade base?! Whatever you wish! Read the post and come up with your own use for this idea!
Weather-resistant DIY garden mushrooms from jars and pans
DIY yard mushrooms as garden art by Studio 27 – by Jennifer Adams
Needing something fun in an empty flower bed, Jennifer decided to whip up some fabulous outdoor mushroom art made with two things you likely already have at home! Oh goodness, I could use a few of these! Love the pop of red until those blooms take full effect too! These would be so fun and easy to create!
