Greetings all!

This week, after YEARS, I started to repaint my bedroom again.

Back in the day, I use to do lots of home tours on the blog, so my home had to stay spotless! Frequent painting and cleaning was the ultimate bonus from those days of course. However lately, my work has shifted elsewhere, so trust me when I say, if I paint a wall, it likely REALLY needs it.

Quite often, these simple clean up types of painting result into much more. The last time I did a bedroom shoot was when I made this faux barn door headboard I’m still rockin’. I’m already dreaming up how to enhance my bedroom dresser, vintage bench at the foot of the bed, ensuite cabinets, and be on the hunt for some nice bedding! Since I’ve lived here so long, everything needs a makeover again. So I best get on it!

And then there’s Christmas. Whatever will I make this year? It’s probably in my best interest to start decorating now so I know what I need and can make it early enough!

But my home needs a chance to clean up too, so I’m going to finish up the bedroom first and make it one I want to be in again. Improvements coming soon!
