Greetings all!
This past week my success took a small detour. A major project failure led me to doing another, leaving me no extra time to play on the blog this week. Such is the life of an entrepreneur!
But you know what it taught me? Other than test out a new idea I’m unsure of, of course… it taught me my confidence was intact and where it needs to be. You often hear of folks afraid to try new things, but my weekly push towards the brand new has really been broadening my experience in all sorts of unique ways. Even false hope rose to the top! haha
Oh, and I hauled out my sewing machine (after 20 years?) to sew a straight line… that I had to do at least 20 times over. I should have been too afraid to try that! I’m not learning, am I?
But boy will I look forward to time to catch up on some major clean up. I’ll have to show you my creative space in stories because no matter where you are on the mess spectrum, I’m going to make you feel GREAT in comparison.
Anyway, here’s to creativity and being brave, even if you’re in over your head!
So let’s party and get inspired with real finished projects (kudos!) with this week’s upcycle project party features from last week’s party… then onto the new linkups!

Thank you for including my toy ornament wreath in the featured items this week!
You must enjoy sewing since you own a sewing machine. I love to sew, but no means am I anywhere near a professional! During the pandemic I sat at the sewing machine and along with many hours of replaying the same YouTubes, I conquered the great zipper. I never knew how to set a zipper nor did I ever sew one into a project before, but grit and determination (or was it stubbornness) prevailed 🙂 I love the spice can miniatures. I never know what to do with those beautiful cans once they’re empty. Now I need to start saving them!
I used to be a sewer in high school. But that ship has long sailed! So I haven’t kept up with it at all. But I’m glad I hauled it out. I may get it serviced so I can actually use it here and there again! Going without limits my creativity. I want to broaden it! And I agree. Those spice tins are so adorable, I’m going to start collecting miniatures!
