We were blessed with some cooler weather this past week, but the heat is about to rise again. I had 3 quotations to get in central air, but each quote is higher than the last. Drat! Looks like we’re going to remain chummy with window fans and single room air conditioners, for this year anyway. Ah well. Good thing I love warm weather.
I’ve also been collecting a few new things off the curb to redo, so I’ll be working on a brainstorm to see what they can become. I’ve missed my paint studio and it’s time to get back to it!
So until then, let’s have some fun and revisit some super cool features from last week’s party…

What a hot summer it’s been! Maybe check into a/c quotes during the winter? It seems that new furnaces tend to be cheaper during the summer and central a/c is cheaper during the winter. I don’t understand why, unless contractors are trying to move “last years models”? I always look forward to your posts – love them! Stay cool!
YES. I think AC in the winter is a wise choice Sharon. Although we made out ok with two room air conditioners, but it’s still hard to work that way. Thanks for the added push…
Thank you so much for sharing my fabric bowls post, I’m so honored to be included with all these other wonderful creations!
They are adorable Jayne! Thanks for sharing your creative talents with us!
We had a reprieve from the hot temperatures this week too but I’m very much looking forward to the heat wave again before our short summer ends. Have a good weekend!
Wow, really? You want that wax melting heat? I swear that’s what we west coasters are made of. haha I do admit I love a hot summer night though, when you walk outside and feel no difference in temp. Love that!
Hi Donna, I hope you and your family are well. Here in Holland it’s a very good weather. It’s not always like that. That’s why we have to enjoy it. Good vacation ♥
Happy summer Elsa! You are so right, gotta choose the good with the current season. I do enjoy trail riding in warmer temps, the forest fragrance changes too!
