New Upcycled Projects to Make 579

Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend!
I’m really looking forward to this one. Our entire week dipped back into early spring weather temps, but this weekend promises to be hot again! And I like hot.
Plus… my brother is going to teach me how to kayak on Sunday! I’ve wanted to try it forever so I’m really pumped! We have some very calm waterways nearby so this is a trial to see if I’d like to take this on myself.
This past week, I also did a major update on the garden shed…
Rustic Garden shed sign with easy flowerbed edging by Funky Junk Interiors
Last summer, I saved the shed by rebuilding it and it was time to decorate for summer. So a few planks and a rusty rake later, this fast and easy sign went up, along with a revamped flowerbed border as well painted a decadent shade of black! Visit the post to see how the whole thing turned out!
So pleased with some progress in the yard! Especially while staring at a newly thatched lawn that’s looking rather sketchy… LOL
And as soon as I build this post, I’m heading downstairs to work on my concrete floor project so I hope to have a new update next week on that as well!
So let’s wander over to your own projects, with some pretty fab highlights from last week’s link party post…

Tree bark flower vases by Home Is Where The Boat Is
Fresh cut flowers are gorgeous anyway, however these pretty flower vignettes just got ramped up BIG thanks to the tree bark vases! What a spectacular result! And the tutorial is just as awesome. Visit the post to learn how!
Mosaic flower pots by Home is Where The Boat Is
There’s a little competition going on in this pic. Because both the flowers AND mosaic flower pots are stealing this show! How I LOVE the idea of coordinated pots to flower tones! This is a wonderful tutorial that will help you get started on your own!
Beach shadow box by Little Vintage Cottage
This sweet shadow box is ALL about the beach, but it also use to be something you may have sitting at home… so you can make one too! This post is a must-visit to fully appreciate all the detail that went into each section of this adorable shadow box idea!
Bucket with crate vegetable planter by Organized Clutter
It’s one thing to plant veggies in a bucket, however to layer it with a crate AND name tag it as well? What a cool idea! Visit the post link to see how!
Cast iron plant hanger stand by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S
I think I’m going to follow Lisa around when she junks. She landed this metal stand that got an instant makeover along with some hanging baskets from a VERY affordable source! Click the link to see the before you won’t even believe…. isn’t this lovely?
