How are ya doing this fine weekend?!

This past week was devoted to some deep cleaning, and getting rid of stuff! Is there anything more gratifying than to list something and see it gone the next day? My front porch is littered with name tagged items and it’s helping to loosen up those tight corners!

Cuz as soon as the purging is complete, it’s onto renovating and improving again! I just feel like there isn’t an inch to spare in January, so my apologies for not being as creative as all of you have been this past month. I just have too much stuff. But soon? No more!

Redecorating a home by changing around the furniture

You may remember last January when I did THIS major reshuffling of furniture. I didn’t buy a thing but managed to change up a few rooms. And I’m doing the same this January. But this time, if it doesn’t work, OUT it goes.

I’m about to saw off some legs on this shorter TV dresser to create a new coffee table (eek, excited!) so things are looking up!

But I did tell myself I need to start sharing more on the blog come Feb, so my lah lah leisure time is nearly up. So be prepared to check out my new dresser coffee table in a winter living room next week!

Or else. Right?

So let’s see what you’re busy prettying your own homes with from these gorgeous features from last week’s party…

  1. We’re in the middle of another bathroom/master bedroom makeover so there have been some purging and decor re-makeovers going on over here. Happy purging and looking forward to seeing your coffee table.

  2. Donna,
I love the bedroom… MY dream bedroom.
You are so busy and yet you host another awesome party.
Purging is so rewarding. I have mine in a holding area for 1 week in case I change my mind. Once in a while I get a brainstorm and repurpose from my bag.
I appreciate you so much !!!!!!!
Thank you for sharing my mushrooms this week- I had fun being a bit silly.
    Have a great week-
    xo Lisa S

  3. Thank you for the feature, you’re the best. Thank you for the stencils, they’re the best. Thank you for the inspiration, it’s the best. And even though all that is true I’m not purging anything this month, I currently like all my sch!dt!

  4. Ya’ have to clean out the clutter to make room for creativity! Woohoo for purging! I’m doing the same in my kitchen and it’s taking longer than I expected ? Have a great week!

  5. Hello from me! (first time here). I love that bedroom and all of those gorgeous wood tones! I’m not purging but I am revamping a view things around here, including a tiny office space (hence the barn quilt Ikea Moppe upcycle). Thanks for hosting and have a lovely week!
