Hi all! It appears I disappeared from the blog over the past week, but not so projectwise!

I’ve been working on some new features to this year’s garden shed which I’ll be sharing next week! But because the pics are ready, here’s a peek…

DIY window box planters on a garden shed

This year’s theme is more flowers… so yup, I’m ramping up my own garden flower growing game! Getting tired of the abandoned lot look so there’s that! As well as featuring a few of my fav garden stencils to help pretty things up!

Stay tuned for the newsletter update (sign up HERE) to get alerted when this tour is up and running! It’s a cute one!

Check RUSTIC GARDEN SHED HERE for the most current shed updates, including this one once live!

I’ve also been working on other areas of the garden I hope to get closer to completion on as well. So lotsa outdoor garden junk to come!

The blog is also on a new server which is an exciting thing in my world. The move is saving me a bucket of funds for seemingly the same service. So if you are searching for a server option for your own blog or website, so far I can safely recommend BigScoots HERE. (aff link) The price is right, they come highly recommended and everything seems fast! And moving over was as easy as filling out forms and letting them do the work. My kinda move!

Ok then! Let’s get this party started and visit some fab features from last week’s party

garden tool box

Repurposed garden tote by Homeroad

Leave it to Susan to put a few misfits together to create a beautiful AND productive garden tote! This tutorial may having you whip up one of your own when you see what she used! Hint… some are found in your own kitchen.

wood and glass globe candle holders

Thrifted glass globe candle holders by Decorative Inspirations

If you love the look of glowy candles too, grab a few glass globes and scrap wood to make these beautiful candle holders on raised pedestals! Love the light and airy vibe and how well the glass would protect the flame from wind, pets or little hands. Aren’t they pretty?

boho flower basket arrangement

Boho wall hanging flower basket by Little Vintage Cottage

Boho is in! And this pretty tutorial will guide you on how to put together your own boho hanging flower basket. Doesn’t it have such a homey vibe? The ribbon trim does it for me!

If you have a special someone in your life that is having a birthday, this charming birthday shadow box could replace a traditional birthday card and become a life long keepsake. This is adorable!

watermelon button art

Since summer’s right around the corner, perhaps a slice of watermelon button art could perk up your own summer home too? What a pretty way to bring out that hot summer day vibe!

  2. Hi Donna, I’ve been MIA for several weeks. Went through a creative slump and had nothing new to share. It’s good to be back, I always enjoy this party. I’m super excited to see what you have in store for my favorite shed in all of blogland!

  3. Thanks so much for featuring my boho basket! The fringe definitely made the whole project and it was a last-minute addition!

  4. I’ve been MIA, too! Enjoying the beautiful early summer weather we’ve had and making pretty in the outdoor spaces. Feels so good to be digging in the dirt again:) Glad you switched to Big Scoots; they’re awesome! Good for you for adding some pretty to your backyard!
