Laura had previously picked up the baseball bats at an auction for a client. Being that they never did get used, she decided to celebrate three things… baseball, the beach, and their patriotism with this clever baseball bat American flag art.  A stunningly unique project that is truly timeless.

Kim desired to create a rustic patriotic mantel, so she created weathered and worn fabric banners or buntings with all new materials. Wow. I’m personally in LOVE with that burlap banner, it’s amazing. Perfect fourth of july decorations wall art with a farmhouse vibe for a front porch!

Most recently I was visiting a fabulous place called No Name Saloon. This amazing license plate America art was hanging among all their other dazzling decorating. If you look closely, the states are all in the right place. So cool! No idea where they purchased it from but it sure was a cool upcycled Americana piece!

  1. Love the spring toward summer additions to your wood/shed that you revitalized so long ago. Thanks for hosting Upcycled Projects Donna. The craftmanship and artistry in the Patriotic posts joining in are inspiring.

  2. Hi Donna, thank you so much for the party! I accidentally linked up my scrap wood American flag project to the wrong section, I didn’t see a way to delete it, sorry! I wasn’t sure what to do so I linked it to the patriotic section too. Hopefully you could delete the first one? I guess that’s what happens when someone is trying to talk to you while you are linking up! 🙂

  3. Hi Donna,
The license plate map is such a creative piece of art. I showed my husband the ‘No Name Saloon’ post you did and he was instantly head over heals in love with the place. He could have moved right in ; )
Thanks for hosting another fun party.

  4. The l license plate decor came from Hobby Lobby or Ross. I wanted to get one, but events changed the buy. There are some on etsy too.

Just to update you, my email feed comes through now. But I signed up again to do it and no doubles.

  5. Can I forward this email to a friend? I know I have tried on some other blogs and it doesn’t work. If not how can I send this post to a friend..?

  6. I’m fairly sure the license plate art is from a Michigan-based company called Design Turnpike. https://www.facebook.com/DesignTurnpike
If the link I dropped dows not work, it’s just their Facebook page. You can find it easily enough by using the search bar. They create fantastic pieces and are actually selling very high end pieces to collectors.

  7. For the last 2 weeks I’ve had a hard time bringing up your party. Last week I was finally able to see the party after trying for hours. This week I think I got most of the text but no pictures. Is anyone else having the same problem? I have been “tuning in” for this party for at least the past 3 or 4 years with no problem. It was one of the highlights of my weekends! Can anyone help or is it just me?

  8. It just came up!! Happy about it but still confused. If you have a clue what’s going on please let me know!!!
