PJ 249 – an upcycled link party

43+ upcycled projects on FunkyJunkInteriors.net

Welcome to Party Junk 249 – An upcycled link party with ‘spontaneous current features!’

Every Friday, 7PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Hello everyone!

Oops! I had this scheduled for 7pm pacific but for some reason it didn’t go live. My apologies!

We just came back from vacationland very early Friday AM. We are sleep deprived, tanned and trying to gather our bearings, without kona coffee, beach front property and well manicured gardens surrounding us. ( I believe I need a gardener! )

Such a fabulous time! I have many stories to share which I will start on next week.

Until then, here’s this weekend’s linkup. I will be adding features all weekend from the current link ups… so link up! 🙂

Hand painted wing chair by Artsy Va Va
Hand painted chair / Artsy Va Va

Do you have a tired wing backed chair that could use some  va va voom? Me too. Carrie ended up making a plain and boring chair into a work of art!

Brickmaker's table in all wood by AKA Design
DIY Brickmaker’s Coffee Table design / AKA Design

Shannon came up with a way to make this traditionally metal table with all wood. This is one gorgeous piece and looks so high end when it’s all just actually made out of pine. A must see.

mason jar solar lights by Chipping with Charm
Instant mason jar solar lights / Chipping with Charm

On my personal bucket list is visiting Laurel’s place. She does junk like no one else. She also came up with a super easy and clever way to incorporate aqua mason jars into solar lights. This is cool and they must give off the most amazing glow at night! Want! I mean… look at this garden. LOVE every square inch!
Antique Flash Card Printables via Knick of TimeMake your own flashcards from free printables / Knick of Time

Who doesn’t love old flash cards? I get giddy when I land certain phrases that mean something to me. Angie takes the hunt work out of that one and created a custom printable base where you can print your own! They look so authentic!

Vintage Dresser Kitchen Island by Creating A New Life
Vintage dresser kitchen island / Creating A New Life

Jeanette had this old vintage dresser that has been through three home moves. It’s had a lot of history being used by the family for different things over the years. But the drawers were starting to go. And then inspiration hit… and it became a kitchen island instead, without the bad drawers! The dresser offers a ton of front storage, click to check it out!

More features to come… this is fun… 😀

  1. Glad you had a great vacation and can’t wait to hear all of the fun things you did on your vacation. Welcome home!

  2. WOW! Even in your sleep deprived state, you managed to round up some amazing junk makeovers. I love when I see something totally new, like those DIY solar lights. Can’t wait to look at everything.

  3. Hi Donna! I’m sure it’s going to take a little while to “come down” and process all the wonderful things you and your son experienced together. I’m looking forward to hearing more!
I was going to wait until next week’s party to link up, but what the heck, I’m jumping in 🙂 Thanks for having us!

    Jeanette
