Welcome to Party Junk 261 – an upcycled link party
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
I have to admit, even though I blog fulltime, Fridays are my fav day. Weekends just feel like a free for all with nothing really scheduled.
Heap of Change
And I know what I’ll be doing. I caught the gutting bug, and while I just meant to organize, I’m gutting my downstairs office and making it something I want to actually spend time in, focusing on a crafting and painting station. Be sure to stop by for the Heap of Change event on Thursday to either take part or see what’s transpired!
Blog Survey
And did you take the blog survey yet? I’d love to hear your opinions on Funky Junk!
How to link up to a link party
Now… a few in the survey didn’t understand about link parties. These are basically geared for others that have blogs that would like to showcase what they have done. By inserting a link into the widget below, their posts show up here so it’s easy for you to visit.
For a non blogger version, I’d love to invite you to show your own new projects on my Facebook page, each time you see the link party announcement! Take a picture of something you’ve made, add the photo and your story so we can visit you too! 🙂
Watch the FACEBOOK PAGE HERE for the prompt.

Ok, so on with the show!
Here are a few highlights from last weekend’s Best of 2014 party. I chose them because I think they are incredibly productive, while showcasing a wonderful industrial or rustic style…
Pipe coat hanger / DIY Show Off
This pipe hanging apparatus makes me want to remove closets so I have a reason for this! Roeschel uses it for guests. I could totally see this in a laundry room or even in a bedroom for an extra. Where would you use it?
Upcycled cube shelf / Design Dreams By Anne
This incredible redo looks NOTHING like the ultra modern original. Think square box prior. Anne created different panels, morphing them into doors, that added eclectic charm, along with great hiding abilities. Taking notes! It’s the perfect hack for those that don’t wish to build from scratch.
Two level pallet wood deck / Scrapality
This deck took a LOT of effort, but the results speak for themselves. If you like rustic charm and don’t want to pay a fortune for it, this may be for you this spring! Andrea does a ton of rustic wood projects, so be sure to visit her to see more.

~ Party Junk blah blah linkup rules ~
1. Upcycled, DIY home projects only please. Items for sale must be in tutorial form on your blog.
2. Linkups must be your own work, not another’s.
3. Only projects new to Party Junk please. The themed linkup is an exception.
4. By linking up here, you’re cool with me featuring you on my blog, Pinterest, Twitter, FJI Facebook and I Love That Junk with no additional permission required and add your link to like minded themed linkups.

Hi Donna, Thanks for hosting the party… Hope my link is ok, if not just pull it off, I won’t be offended. Happy new year! Liz from http://www.HomeToCottage.com
Isn’t that how it goes. You get to organizing one room, then it turns into all the ideas you had coming out. Now you want to implement them all since the room is clean. Thanks for hosting.
