Welcome to Party Junk 271 – upcycled ladders! Part of a salvaged junk link party.
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend, everyone!
Whadda week. Between working on an upcycled doll house project and planning a few trips in the future, where has the time gone?
Be sure to tune in Tuesday when I show you how I’ve morphed a rustic bookshelf into a doll house… upcycled style of course! All the furniture is handmade from wood scraps. Can’t wait to show you!
And then Country Woman Magazine featured my crazy little upcycled ladder project in their March / April 2015 edition! And they chose the picture with my fur babies! Ahh! (see below)
So, gotta celebrate that one! This weekend, let’s take a look at upcycled ladder projects… here’s a few of my own favs among others I’ve seen in blogland…
Upcycled ladder wall shelf for Country Woman Magazine / Funky Junk Interiors
A shelf… made in the shade for these two apparently. Seriously junky in a charming kinda way.
Ladder sidetable for a bedroom / Funky Junk Interiors
Coolest idea for those tall beds of today… whole ladder is intact!
Ladder towel holder in farmhouse bathroom / Funky Junk Interiors
Pretty and doesn’t take up much space! Now to train my son to use it…
Ladder plant stand / Funky Junk Interiors
Plants love this! As long as you (ahem) water them…
Rustic ladder shelf / Knick of Time
What’s NOT to love in this entire bedroom? Do take the tour. You’re welcome.
Make your own rustic pallet wood ladder / Thistlewood Farms
What’s that? You can’t FIND a ladder? Why not make your own? This is coooool!
Ladder bookshelf / Beyond the Picket Fence
I love the airy feeling of this ladder bookshelf. Function and junky cool!

Thanks for the linkup. Enjoy your weekend!
Wow, I’ve never seen so many ladders in one spot. Love these ideas! Thanks so much for the party Donna.
I was so excited to see your ladder post and party! Having used them in my decor, since the 80’s, I am a ladder lover. I just wish that I could fit in more than I already have. I love your bathroom shelf ladder…who would have thought to use a step ladder in that way….it was genius!

This is like my dream post…I LOVE old ladders, but can never seem to come across any. I absolutely need that ladder bedside table, though, so I may have to skip on over to Thistlewood Farm and see if I can build my own ladder. YIKES! Wish me luck! 😉
Thank you for hosting, such lovely linkups so many talented people out there. Happy weekend!
I LOVE your latest ladder on the wall as a shelf! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one hung horizontal as a shelf before, and it looks so cute holding towels!
Thanks for including my guest room ladder in your features, Donna!
Donna, love all you do. The ladder is so great. Congrats on the magazine! Thanks for hosting!
My desk at home is an upcycled ladder with a bit of wood that can flip down to become a desk. It’s so great, so I love seeing what other people do with their ladders like this! Thanks so much for sharing!
