Welcome to Party Junk 273 – salvaged junk link party

Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Happy upcycled weekend, everyone!

Oh you guys… I was going to deem a cool theme this weekend, but when I saw all the amazingness linked up LAST weekend, I couldn’t help myself. I had to go all random again.

You inspire me so much. You make the things I don’t have time nor have the expertise to make. Now how to get all this goodness into my own two hands is the next dilemma… 🙂

So! Here are a few favs from last weekend I fell head over heels for, and even something new from me. See if you don’t feel the same…

Pallet patio remodel by A Piece of Rainbow, featured on Funky Junk Interiors
Pallet wood patio / A Piece of Rainbow

Oh my gosh. Never have I seen a patio so personalized… with pallet wood! This post is a MUST visit. If this doesn’t hit the biggest magazines in the land… magazines, take heed! It’s colourful, warm, and so inviting.

Feedsack purse by Prodigal Pieces, featured on Funky Junk Interiors
Grain sack purse / Prodical Pieces

When I first saw this picture, I gasped. I’ve been looking forever for a cool purse that reflects my style. This one’s a cross between a real purse and a grain sack. Super cool idea!

Stamped paintings by Chipping with Charm, featured on Funky Junk Interiors
Stamped paintings / Chipping with Charm

I’ve never been drawn to collect thrift store paintings until I saw this genius rendition. Laurel stamped her own personal messages across them, and with a few added embellishments of her own, brought them to life. Love this!

Vintage crow sign by Scavenger Chic, featured on Funky Junk Interiors

I’m always smitten towards old signs on wood, but this one takes the cake! Or crow… This is hand done. Seriously. Love every detail of it!

Say that 3 times! 🙂 Seriously… my love for old signs is prominent in this one. You’ll have to visit the post to fully appreciate the hidden elements. Such a fun, easy salvaged junk shelf to make!

Route 66 stenciled puzzle coasters on reclaimed wood / FunkyJunkInteriors.net

Could anything be cuter or easier? A plank of wood and a cool stencil is all you need! Instant gift or coffee time for you!

  1. oh donna, i am just so honored!!! =) i remember even before i started blogging, i would be on pinterest for hours admiring things i love, and realize 1/3 of them are YOURS. i would never have thought that something i made would be featured here!! it means so much!!

crazy about your shutter shelf(like everything you’ve made) – WOW – and still figuring out a way to “borrow” my friend larissa’s grain sack purse hehe… =)

  2. Lovely pics here! That patio looks so gorgeous – the rustic wood with the bright colors! There’s definitely a lot of inspiration for me in here.
