Welcome to Party Junk 291 – an upcycled link party

Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Hello party junkers!

My boy nearly pulled a fast one on me. He told me he wanted to stay another week in Maui. I nearly pulled the trigger in order to do it… then in the next 5 min he wanted to go home. 🙂 That boy ought to know better than to mess with Maui saturated Mom! So we’ll be coming home next week as planned. Darn it anyway… 😉

I know I’ve slacked in the DIY department (unless eating too much and swimming constantly count), but you sure haven’t! Your projects were really over the top last week, and it was so HARD to not feature 20 more!

But here are a few of my favs…

Joan kicks a buffet up several million notches with this amazing, vintage inspired design. I LOVE the striking contrast of black and white. Click through to find out how she did it!

I adore Sarah’s vision with a caged light cover. I would have NEVER thought to make it into a DIY bird cage!

So, what do you do with a vintage teacup set you find for a whoppin’ $1? Tuula turned hers into a repurposed feeder that looks like a million bucks! What a beautiful way to inject garden art with function!

Mary found the PERFECT use for a plain, rusty old dish rack. This file folder or mail organizer is a genius use, especially for back to school!

Michelle threw together two of the most unlikely components to make the cutest little vase in the land. Click through to see what she used for the wire… you have a zillion of them at home already, guaranteed!

2015 Garden Junk Tour – Organized Clutter

I sunk into my seat in shame as I scrolled through Carlene’s garden this year. Goodness… I actually do that every year. This junker is over the top with the best junk garden features you will ever see… click through for the massively cool tour! And if she charged admission, I’d be first in line.
