Welcome to Party Junk 300 – an upcycled link party
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Hello friends, and welcome back to some major junk hits from last week!
Instant griddle chalkboard, by Adirondack Girl At Heart
This charming idea has me eyeing up a few cast iron pans I have of my own! But this one didn’t start off black. Click through for the full deets!
Salad bowls turned pumpkin storage, by Sadie Seasongoods
I would have NEVER picked up these salad bowls from the thrift, until I saw this project. What. Vision.
DIY pinecone acorn, by Thistlewood Farms
I’ve always wished I could decorate with acorns, but I can never find any. Then this DIY version of an amazing acorn on steroids came along… Now I can just make my own!
An upcycled patio reveal, by Prodigal Pieces
This patio is a MUST visit. From the gavanlized tub coffee table, faux cozy outdoor fireplace, to the barrel strap orb lights, trust me. Click through and see all the repurposed things you can also make out of virtually nothing!
Arts and crafts stepladder storage, by The Summery Umbrella
I’ve always loved shelves with rustic style. This simple ladder idea is a non builder’s dream!
A stencilled BINGO window screen magnetic board, by My Salvaged Treasures
Betsy got me on two notes with this genius invention. Not only did she (ahem) make more art with my own stencils, this one is productive as a magnetic board… utilizing an old window screen. This is just a great idea! It will not darken a room. I love art like that.
Penny starburst mirror, by Real Happy Space
Did you know Canadian pennies are no more? So this authentically USA copper goodness is a good idea for those penny savers, in case yours go missing too! So pretty!
And here’s a couple I even did this week!
A much whiter, brighter office reveal by Funky Junk Interiors
My office needed a fresh makeover. So a whiter wall, and changed out office storage ideas did the trick!
Quilted Canadian Map Message Centre by Funky Junk Interiors
When Missy from The Little Green Bean sent me this gorgeous quilted map, I knew I had to make something super special with it. And here is the result… along with loads of repurposed office storage ideas!

Great features this week. And this Ontario girl loves that map and how you staged it. Sooo pretty. I definitely need a room of my own just for taking pics of projects. I’ll have to work on that. Thanks so much for hosting Donna. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks SO much for featuring my quirky griddle chalkboard creation–you made my day 🙂 I love your office Donna–such a clean, creative space and so inspiring with all your creations decorating it. I would die if anyone ever saw my “work room,” where every stinking corner is stuffed with [let’s call it what it is] crap(!). Happy Thanksgiving!
