Welcome to Party Junk 307 – an upcycled link party

Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Welcome everyone! Glad you took some time away from Christmas decorating (I know you are!) to come on out and link your newest up!

I can’t say I’m really decorating yet… but I am still cleaning and painting. My latest venture was an attempt for a quick repaint down the hallway. But that’s not QUITE what happened… YIKES.

What Christmas tree? 🙂

Hope you are smarter than me and stick with your plans this time of year!

Here are a few fab highlights from last week…

There’s a surplus of thrift store frame Carlene’s way… so she scooped this one up, and created a GORGEOUS night scene with this very clever Christmas message. ADORE.

Lamp parts as floral themed magnetic card holders? Why… of course. Doesn’t everyone?

Goodness… Betsy strikes gold… brass? yet again.

Patty’s husband likes to make sure they don’t have a surplus of junk around. But Patty’s starting to get ‘ideas’…

Lucky for us, said husband now has something ‘fun’ to do with Patty’s new accumulation.

Tell him we LOVE it, Patty! And to please make MORE! 🙂

Virginia’s friend joked that she should just give her a bag of rocks for her birthday, because she’d just know what to do with them.

Virginia, I think you’d better be prepared to get really strange stuff from hereon out. Because this adorable winter scene has proven your friend is right!

Sarah was inspired by a Pin she found. But with no tutorial attached, she made her version up. And thankfully now we DO have a tutorial!

And now I finally have a reason I collect all of my old tools I have NO idea what to do with.

Michelle is a true trooper. She’s busy painting her living room so has no tree to display these cool old hinge decorations on. But that didn’t stop her from making them, AND going outside to hang them up! Have you ever seen rusty hinges look this pretty?

You already know I’m a fanatic with reclaimed wood, so I put these white fence planks to work doing something very useful… and very festive! Stencil info is also inside this post.

  1. Love the white. You seem to have taken on the whole house. I have two vintage (well, very old) glass (multiple small panes style) on my hallway office door and (for some very weird reason) on my bedroom door. Lets daylight into the hallway.

Thanks for PJ 307. Love having something to add this week.

    Joy

  2. Hi Donna – It’s officially the holiday season and lovely features to deck the halls! I hope your weekend is as wonderful as you are! Hugs, Holly

  3. Thank you so much, Donna, for featuring my Happy Camper! I’m sure you’re right…there’s no telling what else I’ll be challenged with from now on. Things often appear in my driveway, but nothing quite as unusual as a bag of rocks! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a great week ahead.

  4. Hi
I don’t actually have anything to post this week to your link up party, but I still love to visit. I just want to say that your link up party is my favourite and I love to visit whether or not I have something to contribute. There are always loads of great ideas. Thanks !
