PJ 323 – DIY spring junk
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Happy Easter weekend, junker friends!
I hope that whatever this weekend brings you will be filled with many special memories to come!
NEW
So… did you notice something different right off the bat? I’m going to attempt to bring more weekly themes back! So there may be two linkups on occasion… one with your NEW current DIY best, and the 2nd, themed, which can include your older posts too.
Themed linkups have always been a past fav of yours. They also bring more value to these posts, hopefully driving more traffic to your own showcased projects!
Themes also never close so be sure to visit them frequently to add yours!
No need to link back… share instead?
Something I don’t require is a link back to these parties. So if you join the party, a share of the top themed graphic would be truly appreciated.
Also, clicking through to the original bloggers’ projects to pin is another great way to show appreciation.
Thank you for any top graphic shares or otherwise! That’s the best link back I could ask for. 🙂

So, here’s some spring themed junk plus others that caught my eye last weekend:
Spring junk!
Antique chair back bird feeder, by The Interior Frugalista
Why throw out that pretty, press backed antique chair that’s beyond repair, when you can feed the birds instead? This is so gorgeous!
Craft Stash Flower Brooches by Sadie Seasongoods
Fabric scraps get a whole new life through these pretty flowers and vintage buttons… can you imagine them on throw pillows? How about your favourite beach bag? Or art on a wall? The sky’s the limit with this genius creation!
Easter spring themed porch decorating, by Little Brags
This porch welcomes spring with a BANG. I’m embarrassed to admit, I’ve done nothing. This post makes me want to. There’s more to see, so be sure to click for the full tour.
Watering can wreath, by Creative Decor By Brooke
And just maybe, I ought to start my own spring porch decor with a unique front door wreath. I DO have a vintage watering can and picture frame handy too… Don’t these colours jump right out? So charming.
Found Object Bunny Sculpture by Vintage with Laces
This quirky, spring / Easter idea is right up my industrial lovin’ alley. In LOVE!
Julia specializes in these creations, be sure to scan her blog for more.
Spring Garden Tool Holder sign with Planter, by The Interior Frugalista
This spring themed sign is ‘spring loaded’ (heh) with style and productivity. This makes me want to run out and… dare I say it… weed?
Everyday junk!
DIY weathervane, by Prodigal Pieces
Larissa is a master at bringing odds and sods together to create something you just need to have in your life. This DIY weather vane from various junk is perfection! This post showcases more ideas too!
Antique barn door, by This Mamas Dance
I don’t know of one soul who wouldn’t take on installing a sliding barn door. I’m smitten over the use of a windowed variety this round. You get the look without overpowering a small space. Genius!
Hot Coffee Sign with Old Sign Stencils, by My Salvaged Treasures
Honestly, this vintage lid turned coffee sign is perfection as is. The only thing someone mentioned it needed was to have this little coffee shop open 24/7.
I couldn’t agree more… yum!
So, what did you make this past week?
Link up NEW projects only in the FIRST link up.
Link up NEW OR OLDER projects in the 2nd THEMED linkup.
No need to link back. A share instead would be great! 🙂
However, for those that ask:

~ Party Junk blah blah linkup rules ~
1. Upcycled, DIY home projects only please. Items for sale must be in tutorial form on your blog.
2. Linkups must be your own work, not another’s.
3. Only projects new to Party Junk please. The themed linkup (if applicable) is an exception.
4. By linking up here, you’re cool with me featuring you on my blog, Pinterest, Twitter, FJI Facebook and I Love That Junk with a link back to you, or its own new LINK WIDGET with no additional permission required.
Your latest SPRING entries will be showcased at the TOP of this linkup!
