Welcome to Party Junk 258 – an Upcycled Link Party

Every Friday, 7PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Hello my weekend friends! Ready to get another caffeine buzz over some great inspiration? That’s what these make me feel like…

Check out these gorgeous highlights from last weekend’s upcycled party….

From bookshelf to rolling kitchen island / redoux interiors
From dumpster bookshelf to kitchen island / Redoux Interiors

When this BOOKSHELF was spotted in a dumpster, all it took was cutting it in half and adding a top to create this amazing kitchen island on casters! I’ll never look at bookshelves the same way ever again… want this for my workshop!

cutting board signs by Denise on a Whim

When Denise picked up some old cutting boards at a garage sale, she saw more than a kitchen accessory. She visioned them as sign boards! Thrift stores all over are about to lose all those tacky boards to these treasures me thinks…

Driftwood chandelier by Mommyzoid

Stephanie desired some cool lighting for the family’s cottage. With a little help from her family, together they created this amazing driftwood chandy. I totally LOVE it!

Repurposed wooden drawer shelf by Knick of Time Interiors

Drawer wall shelf / Knick of Time

Angie was repurposing a cool dresser, but removed two damaged drawers. Because she’s one of the most resourceful DIYers on the planet, she created drawer shelves with them. This is super cool!

From fan grill to industrial enamel bowl clock / Funky Junk Interiors

I was recently challenged to create with some reproduction antique fan grills and a milk crate styled cup. When I made this clock, I thought I’d get laughed off the net! But it happened to be a favourite among the group! See what else I made in this post…

  1. Hi Donna. Loved the ‘get away’ you wrote about. Its now on my ‘want to do’ list for next year. Great finds this past week or two, looking forward to reading more about your workshop as it progresses. Thanks for hosting PJ 258 today, love joining in.

  2. Donna, thank you SO MUCH for featuring my bookshelf turned rolling island/cart. It truly is one of my all time Junk Makeovers. I have the other half still if you want to come haul it back to Canada!!!
