Adorable chalkboard bunting allows you to change out your messages. The link comes with a wonderful tutorial. Isn’t this the smartest thing?

Like the look of chalkboards but don’t like the mess? Here’s a fake one I made for my once upon a time blog office back in 2010.

Here’s my own collection of chalkboards on Pinterest.

Got a chalkboard project to share?

  2. Thank you for hosting and have a great weekend.
I will be busy digging holes and planting the bushes I posted about in bargains for your garden. I love Summer 🙂

  3. thanks for hosting! i have 4 cans of chalk paint. i don’t know why, but i’m intimidated to start a project. you know… we all have our monsters! your post might be the good start for me 🙂

  4. Hi Donna,
Thanks once again for hosting. I haven’t done a lot of chalkboard projects so this was great incentive to get out some chalkboard paint and try something. I’ve posted one small project and have a couple of more I’ll be posting later.
    Hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

  5. Chalkboard paint is the funnest!!
Wish they had this when I was a kid…I loved writing on school chalkboards and would have loved to have a big one for myself back then 🙂
    I love the mugs idea!

  6. Donna your office sign is cute and I love the banner, cute idea. My grandfather taught school back in the early 30’s. He used to keep his chalkboards spotless so when he had his back turned to the students he could see who was talking. He would throw an eraser at who it was and all the kids would tell the others he had eyes in the back of his head.Funny huh. Those were the days. I have an antique frame I painted white and put a board in it and painted it with chalkboard paint. I am going to make a banner like that, I really like that. Hope you and your son have a good weekend.

  7. Donna, Thank you for featuring my chalkboard command center. I am so humbled to be mentioned on one of my favorite blogs. Thanks for hosting this party, there are some great projects this week!!

    Regards,
    Sarah

  8. SLC is one of the most beautiful and CLEAN cities in America and it has been my privilege to visit several times. My last trip was several years ago and my son made sure I visited all the funky little boutiques that had re-purposed, restored, and artistic re-do’s furniture and “stuff” and there weren’t many, but the ones we found were great. One of my favorites was a used book store on one of the main streets filled floor to ceiling with used books, records, games, etc. I found a stash of old photos that was a gold mine for me. Happy hunting in a city that is very easy to get around, with really friendly people, with beautiful parks and good, but not great, food. I’m from the deep, deep South, and there is no place to find better food! Be safe and enjoy. Learn and share. Get on the tram and ride it as far as you can go in both directions and for $2 you can see at least three of the major Utah areas and the great open scenery between!
