PJ 314 – salvaged junk DIY projects
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Heeeey guys! Hello! Happy weekend!
With all the crazy weather reports all over the place, isn’t it nice we can meet over here over a coffee or what have you, and peek at each other’s newest junk while we stay toasty warm?
I talked myself SILLY this week.
Do you sell stuff? I wrote THIS POST that showcases all the ins and outs I use for selling things online. So if you’re on the fence about showcasing your own wares, this lengthly read may just be the ticket you need to get going!
As for DAILY JUNK MAIL, THIS POST is a new way to look at tasks you dread completing… could this be all you needed to hear?
And my projects are linked along with yours below.
Here’s a few upcycled project highlights from last weekend…
Could this combination of an old shutter gone from ick to aqua, and this amazing hardware be any more beautiful? I think not. Go look at the before.. you won’t recognize it!
I love shutter shelves, they offer so much interest with the louver texture.
Gun rack turned fabric organizer by Sadie Seasongoods
Dear Sarah, I would have NEVER EVER picked up a gun rack… until now. This fix is so clever!
I’m totally smitten with this outdoor sitting area for winter. The junky elements make it all the more original and special. And then there’s that branch with the lanterns…. I want that thing indoors! I’ll be right over with my propane fire pit!
Love hearts, but pink not your thing? I adore everything about this junk styled heart! It has a true barn feel with just that tiny touch of faded red, doesn’t it? Swooning!
And… it’s perfect for year around. SOLD.
This is a fun post to read… Kammy pulled a really daring move, busting a hole through a wall. I wish my holes in walls looked this awesome… check out that barn door!
Beautiful home tour, worth your click over!
P.S. Warning… It’ll make you want to go clean your house…
This post doesn’t come with a tutorial, but I wanted to feature it, because I adore the fact that it’s so easy to make an old sign out of remnants of stuff you may have laying around. This crate end was perfect for the Fresh Eggs sign!
Now may I please borrow that MASSIVE cutting board? I have just the stencil for it… 🙂
If you heard me hollar all the way from Oh Canada, it may have been because of this idea.
Yes, it’s my stencil, and I LOVE it here. Crazy about it in fact.
BUT… this is not a wagon. It’s a crate with wheels, guys… Over the top cool! I’m totally making this!
I love my dear coffee, so I felt it was high time it was enjoyed with a little enhanced junk factor.
Collect rusty tools but never really know what to do with them? Take this quirky tool to get inspired to dust your own off! Just don’t remove the rust..
