DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 355
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Happy winterish feeling weekend!
With all these amazing festive projects popping up, I feel like I’m running late with my own decorating!
But I did manage to saw up a little reclaimed wood to create THESE stockings. Fun!
And I also showcased a recent trip to Ikea, and showed you my fav things. What is it about that place? I swear they play subliminal music, and infuse some $$$$$ buying power essential oil through the ceiling grates or something.
A reader also asked me about my preferred camera equipment, so I laid that all out in this post.
So… here are allllllll the pretty features this weekend. It’s getting hard to limit them, guys… very, very hard.
Here’s what you made at last weekend’s party…
Repurposed Christmas mirror window sign, by Pillar Box Blue
Isn’t this the most cheerful, charming old looking sign ever? I just love the ornaments hanging along the bottom.
Upcycled shutter headboard, by Scavenger Chic
Joan, your repurposing is looking so high end! Can you believe this was made out of a beat up old shutter?! Stunning, soothing bedroom. Goodness…
Reclaimed wood FARMHOUSE Christmas tote with Old Sign Stencils, by Grit Antiques
Jane does total justice to an old crate tote, bound for the snowy hills. This display brings warmth in such a festive way. That FAN!
Woodland Christmas farmhouse bedroom decor, by Knick of Time
If you love the rustic farmhouse look, this is the post you’ll want to scroll through. This lovely guest cottage bedroom will take your breath away!
Christmas Trees For Sale Fixer Upper sign, by My Repurposed Life
Gail was inspired by the famous Fixer Upper Christmas Tree sign, so she made her own rendition! I LOVE how the crisp white snow like background makes this the colours pop!
Reclaimed wood outdoor Christmas gifts, by The Navage Patch
Just when I was scratching my head with this very idea, out comes my answer. Oh my goodness… these wooden presents on this porch are so rustically charming!
Pine cone winter or Christmas wreath, by A Junk Chick Life
Add pinecones with a super simple backing and you have yourself a wreath! This would be such a beautiful, 1 hour project! I may have to whip one up.
Bingo board table top with Old Sign Stencils, by Petticoat Junktion
This project screams vintage colour all over the place! Such a fun treatment for a table top! Perfect for the gamer in your life.
Note: this particular Bingo stencil is no longer being offered, but there is one very similar. All details in the post link.
Reclaimed wood FARMHOUSE wreath with Old Sign Stencils, by Garden Up Green
Carole was super clever, joining up 3 different stencils to create this charmingly rustic sign wreath! I love the gathered over time element to this one. Plus, who knew a simple 2×4 could look so cute?!
Christmas snow globe styled wonderland jars, by SoupSeeds Creations
Grab a jar… any jar. And create a little winter wonderland inside. Sooooo sweet!
Reclaimed wood Christmas stocking decor with Old Sign Stencils by Funky Junk Interiors
Needing to fill an empty space on this year’s Christmas mantel, junk styled Christmas stockings became the quick fix! So fun and easy to make.
Hand painted tin Christmas church decor, by Artsy VaVa
From tin pieces, to hand painted charming festive churches! Such a fun way to inject holiday colour. And the detail on those wreaths!

Love your wood stockings! You have the best repurposes! ;o)
Hi Donna, great post on your camera equipment, will be very handy to reference. Thank you for PJ 355. My ideas were vintage and the bits and pieces used to make a few decorations were vintage too. Now I want to try to make wooden stockings !
