Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 395

Happy junk party weekend, friends!
This past week I really got my blog on. Blame it on the cooler weather perhaps?
However I admit I’m struggling with the loss of my beloved hot summer nights. So I brought out my Therapy 101 class notes and shared tips on how to survive changes we can’t control HERE… and what my patio looks like today…
Next up, a room FULL of DIY blunders that left my brain spinning ended up being so much more than I could ever imagine. THIS POST shows the outcome, and a story about finding the magic in those mistakes, thanks to this wonderful book…
And finally… I did a little fall decorating, thanks to a few pieces of scrap wood! Welcome fall indeed…
Here’s what you brought over from last weekend…
I’m thankful this fresh wreath idea came to light… another way to chime in a fun seasonal message! Isn’t this lovely?
Anyone else now smitten with chicken incubators? Oh goodness… I love the beefy wood nature of this beauty!
This iconic timeless look is now easily done, thanks to this fabulous tutorial filled post! So pretty!
I never met a buffalo check I didn’t fall for. However this little detail on a wooden tray morphed into full out cabin fever! Love how this post went from full out blunder to beautiful!
Buffalo check stencil info is inside the post.
Go on… pick up those round candy dishes or glass pumpkins from the thrift… because you can have this look in a jiffy! Don’t they positively glisten?!
Tea as decor?! After you see this loose leaf sweet tea station, you’ll agree! I just LOVE the little jars on that stand!
And it may even have me gravitating off my beloved ginger-ale moreso… hmmm…
I’m a huge fan of using what the outdoors provides for seasonal decor. This post beautifully shows you how… just wait until you see the hydrangea filled table!
Nothing spells cabin fever like a traditional buffalo check design. Add it to a bucket though? You’re instantly ready for Christmas! LOVE this idea!
Made with stencils, info inside the post.
I will ALWAYS appreciate a good vintage find to do all the talking… and such is the case with these decadent red faucet Christmas ornaments. Precious!
