Biz cards, bloggers and Bella Rustica linkup!

Oh goodness gang… my Bella Rustica weekend is fast approaching! I’m flying in a week early on Sunday AM to help decorate the show as well as take in some Tennessee sights and sunsets.

The saying ‘there’s nothing like a deadline’ has certainly rung true many times over this round. Here’s what’s been going down…

Bella Rustica workshops by Funky Junk Interiors Donna

I’m busy creating workshops that will be sprung throughout the show. For the most part, I’m going to show a few pics of what’s in store, then we’ll get to work, so I plan to wing it speech wise for the most part. You are about to get the ‘real me.’ 🙂

Funky Junk Interiors new business card

I’ve needed a Funky Junk biz card forever and they’ll be ready for pickup tomorrow.  Here’s the design I whipped up. It’s a 2 sided 3″ x 3″ square card. How fun!

I picked up a new toy to bring to the show. I’ve wanted an iPad forever and had really wished I had one on my last trip. I hope to show my slide shows through it so I’ve been busy learning on it while ‘attempting’ to be productive… (2 steps forward, 9 back, you get the drill)

You might say my choice in clothing is somewhat ‘lacking’. I asked my Bella contact Linda what I should bring to wear while holding my breath. Well, you wouldn’t believe what happened next. It appears some of the clothing vendors are offering me a few selections! How fun! Will I end up like one of those people that have costume changes every so often?! I doubt that but it’s rather exciting to see what I’ll show up in. 🙂

Oh! If anyone is coming Friday or earlier, could you please bring a spare pair of size 9 cowboy boots for me to borrow?! Canadians wear ‘runners’, eh? 🙂

Aaaaand… here’s one cool surprise! I have a few friends that are stopping by…

Bella Rustica bloggers in a panel

Wanna meet them?! Me too!!!! And now you can!

For one of the workshops on Friday, these wonderful bloggers will be joining me in a panel. So what will these fab builders, decorators and designers do? Guess you’ll just have to show up and see what’s up our junkin’ sleeves. But it definitely involves JUNK.

The blogger’s panel will be on Friday, Sept 28 at around 1:30 or 4… to be announced. We hope to see you there!

Miss Mustard Seed's book page wreath up for auction at Bella Rustica

Even Miss Mustard Seed is contributing. She’ll be donating one of her fab sheet music wreaths for an Agape auction as well has having her milk paint for sale. (post HERE) Cool!

Oh man. Agape’s website now has a showdown of all the musicians that will be on stage during Bella. Check it out HERE.

Aside from the above panels, I’ll be hovering around the show for the full 3 days, looking over junk and meeting as many of you as I possibly can. And don’t you dare NOT say hi! Let’s junk together, talk about blogs, photography and anything else you desire. Fun! It’s gonna be like one big giant sweet tea party. 🙂

Bella Rustica goers link up!

So who’s going anyway you ask?  Why not help spread the word for the good cause? Won’t you make a real quick blog post on you going to Bella to link up so we can check it out? Or at the very least, link up your blog home page? But I’d REALLY LOVE IT if you made a new post! It can only help Agape.

Bella Rustica website is HERE.

All Bella Rustica posts to date are HERE.

For those that can’t attend, don’t you worry. I’ll be Facebooking the prep and the event like mad. I’ll also ensure to add #bellarustica to any tweets so you can follow that way too!

And in the best Canadiana/Southern accent I can muster up…

See y’all in a week, eh? 🙂
