Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 380
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hello junk lovin’ friends! Welcome back to another riveting junk weekend here on the ‘ol blog!
I tried to DIY last week but it was a bit of a fail. Well, not the project, but perhaps the photo shoot. Boo. I’ll work on it a little more to bring it to life.
So instead, I threw away my worries and hopped on my bike, and ended up finding the most jaw dropping bike trail yet! My resilience is climbing, so cutting new trail ground was the reward for certain! I also shared a little from the heart as well in this post.
It just sorda turned into a ‘take care of me week’. It felt good to treat myself. Do anything special for yourself lately? My bike rides are certainly my go-to lately.
However, you HAVE been very DIY busy!
Here’s some super inspiring highlights from last week’s party…
FARMHOUSE planter box and garden tool hanger, by Organized Clutter
Who doesn’t already love a barn door by itself? Team it up with a cool stencil and two duties, serving as a planter box AND garden tool holder, and you have yourself a viral idea!
Truth. Pinterest loves this project. Thousands can’t be wrong.
Reclaimed wood vegetable storage drawers, by House of Hollingsworth Blog
Don’t be fooled by this project. This wasn’t just covering the ends of existing drawers with luscious reclaimed wood. (that is a good idea…) This project was built from scratch. Need drawers? Here’s how to make them… with salvaged junk style!
Reclaimed wood mug shelf coffee station by Knick of Time
I feed on reclaimed wood shelves! What caught my eye with these are the brackets on the sides… boy did my job ever just get easier! A well deserved coffee is the reward for this beauty!
Old window chalkboard, by Zefi’s Blog Junk 4 Joy
This old window looks like it’s been a chalkboard all its life. Which really showcases the perfect repurpose. Just add a shelf…
Vintage suitcase shelves, by Grillo Designs
I know. I want them too. Guess it’s time to collect those vintage suitcases after all… so clever!
Vintage enamel colander hanging basket planter, by Sadie Seasongoods
Talk about the perfect planter with built in drains! This is vintage-ly gorgeous and works!
How to waterproof a crate into a flower planter box, by Knick of Time
Crates make GORGEOUS planter boxes! However this tutorial showcases how to make a crate waterproof so you can plant in them. Wow! This tulip styled clementine crate is adorable…
Tape measure flowers for hardware styled gift wrap, by Tikkido
Not only is this bow the most clever hardware or sewing styled bow on earth, I can see these in more places than just gift wrap! So genius!

Thankyou for featuring my vegetable drawers Donna! Wow, you’ve made my whole week. xx
super cute features! hard to pick a favorite…but with flowers on my mind these days I’ll be planting in cute crates and looking for a pretty colander
Thanks for the features, Donna – I hope you have a wonderful, restful, fun weekend! 🙂
Donna, I have my eyes set on a cruiser bike and may soon be joining you in stepping away from the computer and taking a break on two wheels. Although I don’t have the beautiful trails that you have in the interior, it will be nice to enjoy some fresh air and be alone with my thoughts. Thanks for the always enjoyable party and have a great weekend!
Thank you for hosting the party. Have a great weekend.
Thanks for the features on this project! I appreciate it!
Thanks for hosting the party, Donna. Love that adorable junky giftwrapping, but I don’t usually wrap presents to myself!;) Glad you’re keeping the party open longer, because I definitely needed the extra days this week because of our holiday! Have a great week!
Ha! We never even use gift wrap in our house any longer… but those flowers are too cute. I want them on something… just don’t know what yet!
Thank you so much for featuring my hardware store gift wrapping idea in your amazing collection! I’m in LOVE with those suitcase shelves!
