Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 390
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hey friends! Happy summer to ya!
I took the past week off to collect my summertime thoughts, and the small breather was fabulous! As a blogger, we tend to write stories in our heads as we live life, and taking a mini rest from the extra step felt like cheating. However for all the right reasons.
It’s been nice. I’ve been taking my coffee to the patio, doing a little painting, trail riding, lots of clean up and dump runs, and even completed a project!
I also started blogging again this week with two new posts.
We’ve been experiencing a really hot and humid summer so our river dried up, making all these cool little secluded beaches I wrote about HERE. I also share a little therapy 101 in this post too.
I also shared a new project… whoop! When my teen took over the TV, my Netflix habit was suffering, so I created my own little TV Shrine with an old dresser HERE. Now I’m not sure what to watch… dresser or the show! What are you currently watching? This is working out so well I need a new series!
Let’s now morph back to the land of some fab highlights from the party 2 weeks ago…
Chair back chalkboard by Knick of Time
I don’t think I’ve ever laid eyes on a more beautiful chalkboard. This chair back offers one beautiful frame!
Subway sign styled TV stand with stencils by Funky Junk Interiors
When my son snagged the TV screen for his gaming, my Netflix habit was in serious jeopardy. So I pulled out the travel trailer TV that was in storage and created a new TV Shrine…
Vintage doily drop cloth farmhouse pillow by Raggedy Bits
Two standard fabric items come together to create the perfect farmhouse accessory in true authentic style! Gorgeous!
I’m actually tempted to haul out my sewing machine again… wish me luck!
Teapot and spoon garden wind chime by The Interior Frugalista
Here’s a fabulous reason to collect teapots you fall in love with just because… isn’t this the coolest?!
Condiment caddy succulent planter by Sadie Seasongoods
Anyone else never own a condiment caddy but now secretly desire to? What a fun planter!
Stenciled stump buoy house number by Homeroad
I will never look at a stump the same way again. I seriously need this in my life to complete my cabin by the lake vision for this place! BRILLIANT.
Vintage skeleton key garland by Karin Urban – Natural Style
Why yes… I would love to have this strung up in my own home. It would look lovely hung in front of a window or mirror. Where would you hang it?
2017 junk garden tour by Organized Clutter
Summer teamed up with junk are both in full swing at Carlene’s place! Take the FULL amazing tour that also showcases a video with thousands upon thousands of views!
Beware… you will question your own greenish brown thumb…

Hi Donna, very funky changes to your Netflix Watching TV stand. Nice mixing up of your stencils. Great handle replacement. Thanks for your 390th DIY Salvaged Junk Projects this week. The river sure is low right now.
