Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 407
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
We made it gang! It’s nearly Christmas and we’ve all survived thus far! Sorda.
Now I know why I don’t have a home tour up yet. When I decorate, I stop to make projects, which I feel require tutorials. So I do that first.
Well, I regarded today as the eleventh hour, so I pushed all the oh-well-tutorials aside and went full tilt regardless. I hope to share my tour with you over the weekend before Christmas. Wish me luck!
Right after I finish the gift project I’m making downstairs from a curb side coffee table… that’s coming too! Soon.
Anyway, I did make something new lately. This past week, I took part in a Christmas Junk Favs Past and Present blog hop with 4 of my junker blogging buddies which enticed me to add a new pillow to the mix.
All I can say is, deadlines are a beautiful thing.
Grain sack styled Bakery pillow by Funky Junk Interiors
Desiring a new pillow for Christmas, I went with a festive toned everyday style instead… grain sack style. This tutorial is in the form of a Facebook live! Yikes…
This post leads to 4 other blogger’s fav junk hits with 50 projects in all.
And now here are some incredible highlights from last week’s party…
Rustic Christmas entry with wood wall and red skis by Orphans with Makeup
Check out that beefy wood planking in this entry gorgeously decked out for Christmas. And if you think that photo is enchanting, wait till you see all the others. This is one jaw dropping home tour worth your click.
Buffalo Checked red metal folding chair with Christmas theme by Organized Clutter
When a little red folding chair landed in Carlene’s hands, she knew just what to do with it with very little extra effort! Genius stencil use that made this little chair go viral!
Reclaimed wood Christmas trees on a mantel by Love and Renovations
I’m utterly charmed by this scrap wood Christmas tree vignette. So clean and elegant, and ready for winter right after Christmas!
French Christmas dining room with evergreen tablescape by So Much Better With Age
This room decked out for the season is absolutely Heavenly. Just the table alone makes you feel like you’re dining al fresco in a snowy forest, doesn’t it? Those faux branch plate chargers are the coolest!
Christmas front porch with mossy candle chandelier by Little Brags
This beautiful Christmas front porch will mesmerize you. It’s a must peek. The beautiful moss chandy is the perfect indication of what else follows…
Log outdoor winter snowman by Scavenger Chic
Oh my goodness… this wooden snowman is perfection, especially for those that don’t get enough snow to make one!
Rustic Christmas mantel by The Honeycomb Home
My goodness, those greens along this chippy mantel just take your breath away. The fireplace is a must see… click to check it all out.
Buffalo checked stenciled wooden Christmas tree by Organized Clutter
The title to this post has the word ugly in it. Cracked me up! Because that ugly tree is so history thanks to a little epic detailing with two different stencils. Isn’t this just so beautiful? Even the ‘red garland’ is perfectly aligned! Stencil info is included in this post.
Repurposed painted skis on a Christmas porch by Confessions of a Serial Do It Yourselfer
I have been looking forever for vintage skis… but next year, I’m going this route! What a fabulous repurpose with just a little paint!
