Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 411
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
A big hello and a happy junk weekend to you!
I’m a little jealous of all your fabulous creations. I’ve had a busy self-care kinda week I’ve already blogged under 4 Brave Things HERE filled with appointments and even an… egads… upcoming surgery. My first ever.
I did pick up a new toy I blogged about HERE to help me get around… it’s a sliiiiight downgrade from my bike, but my oh my can this thing go!
Anyway, thanks for all your kind thoughts and support as I venture on my self improvement path.
AND… thanks once again for filling in some needed DIY gaps in these parts! Here’s some gorgeous features from last week’s party…
Magazine rack stencil storage by Sadie Seasongoods
Beautiful, compact, portable, organized, perfection! This is a GREAT idea!
Industrial wheel bar table by Salvage Sister And Mister
It’s easy to tell what the pedestal is made out of on this super cool table. But I’d bet you’ll never guess what the top is… hint… you walk on them nearly every day. Oh my goodness I adore this setup.
Junk and stick HOME sign by Kammy’s Korner
This post is actually about a beautiful bench makeover, including an easy pillow hack, as WELL as how to make that cool junky HOME sign. Lots of goodness in this click!
DIY Faux farmhouse fireplace and mantel by Twelve On Main
If you’ve always dreamed of having a fireplace, this post is a fake-it MUST-read! So beautifully done.
Denim waistbands turned rug by Pillar Box Blue
Yet another reason to take a 2nd look at those old jeans, because this area carpet is to DIE for. I can also see this flipped into a cool pillow cover.
Paint brush junk sculpture by Vintage with Laces
If you love an adorable project with a great story to go along with it, this post will charm you! Go over and meet Loxy Colorsplash and find out what her lastest passion has her up to…
Oh my gosh lookit those arms…
Spindle pedestal sign stand by Homeroad
Susan’s gorgeous rustic signs can stand alone any ‘ol day! However, adding a spindle was the ticket to this little addition…
Repurposed drawer turned raised plant tray by Organized Clutter
Don’t throw that drawer out! You can have a buffalo checked raised tray instead! Here it’s decked out as a plant vignette. What would you use yours for?

Thank you so much for featuring my colorful artist girl, Donna! 🙂
I thought of you yesterday and hope the surgery went well. I wish you speedy recovery!
Hi Donna – hope you are as comfortable as possible and your surgery went well (and that you gum where your tooth was has any pain controlled by..). Whew, what a lot for one week. Hugs and prayers continue.
Thank you Donna for your 411th DIY Salvage Junk Projects, always look forward to seeing what others share as well as joining in.
Rest, drink water, have some of the soup in your fridge when you feel like eating and use your knee scooter safely.
Joy
Thank you for hosting the party. I hope that your foot surgery went well.
Thank you for featuring my denim rug. I hope your surgery goes well and you don’t need the scooter, but it does kind of look fun.
Thank you for hosting the party Donna even when you’re feeling rotten. Your new ‘ol bike contraption thing looks like an awesomely fun toy BTW.
Praying that your surgery went well and that you’re on the road to recovery!
On another note, what a clever idea to use an old magazine rack for organization! I have folders that I use that keep getting hid underneath other items and I can’t find them. What a wonderful way to have them close at hand and help me to be organized! I’m going to have to look for old magazine racks now! Also love the denim rug. I don’t know if I have the patience to make a rug, but maybe a table runner or placemats might work?
Feel better my cyber friend – prayers & hugs coming your way!!!
Hope you can get caught up on some inspirational blog reading while you recover, Donna! Thanks for faithfully hosting each week:)
