Howdy!
Where did the week go?!
Oh… I remember now. I started a zillion things that didn’t make it to completion, so it looks like I did nothing. But hey, I even got out the ‘ol saw! You can check into my Old Sign Stencils insta stories HERE under How To Stencil for a sneak peek!
In other riveting news, this past week I shared musings on comparing one of my nightly forest bike rides to my use-to-be beach evenings in Maui HERE. IS there even anything to compare? Yes and no. This one shares lotsa inner musings and some pretty pictures I might add.
But I am trying to be good. I’m designing some new fall stencils (let’s hope some make it to market!) and did some unexpected DEEEEEP cleaning, which I’ll write about soon too. It sure feels good to dive into DIY work mode again.
And… this is exciting! I have a friend joining me for a bike ride tonight. One of my goals has been to become a little more social so this is a treat!
Party time! Did you catch last week’s party? There were some pretty amazing features… here’s a few of them…

She had me at beat up license plate in rust, black and white! Upon closer inspection, this is a really great project! So easy to tote around stuff from computer to computer… if you’re anything like me…
Chair back chalkboard by Knick of Time
This clever project will have you eyeing up chairs to purposefully break so you have an excuse to make this! Love the clean yet interesting lines.

I’m really smitten with these animal silhouette drawer frames. So farmhouse!
Junk styled bird houses by Little Vintage Cottage
This post may shock you on how easy it is to turn a standard prebuilt birdhouse into an inspiring junk-infused one! Why did I give mine away again now? Sigh…
Christmas Blend Hot Cocoa Christmas tree crate by Organized Clutter
Leave it to Carlene to fire up super clever Christmas gear already. And who knew this pillow designed stencil would look so good on a crate?! Full stencil details in the post.
Now I want one.
Stenciled wood hanger picture frame by Fresh Vintage By Lisa S
A hanger is only a hanger unless it gets a magical touch from a charming stencil and holds up a pretty print. ADORE this! And it’s easy to make!
Now if this round didn’t inspire you in some way, I’m not sure what would.
