Howdy all!
We are kinda sorda bracing for a little stormy weather. So what did I do? I hightailed it to Lowes to pick up some building supplies so I could continue to work on a project I have on the go. I’m now ready for snow so bring it on! It sure feels good to work on a room project again, although they take longer to get on the blog.
Faux chalkboard bulletin board with a patterned effect
I also did a quick little faux chalkboard repurpose with a standard schmandard bulletin board… it has a fun tone-on-tone effect you can see much better in the post!
I also think I made a mistake in joining a gym. I get a little personal in this post and chat about picking your own poison amongst beautiful trail pictures which obviously would be my first choice! Come on over HERE and chime in with your thoughts…

Donna thanks so much for the feature. I have to be honest, I really don’t like the new and “improved” inlinkz. I know some bloggers are using another method which is actually free. It’s called Link Party Animal. Check it out. I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy your new living room.

I looked into it however some of their terms are a little dictative. ie: you can’t repeat a blog post into their system again until a year has gone past.
I use linkups for other areas of the blog as well, so that format won’t work.
I’ll keep working on this!

I don’t always post here, becuase I don’t always have something upcycled, but I love your focused blog without how-to’s and recipes. Thanks for keeping it going!
I have 2 old wooden windows without the glass. I’m thinking once the weather lets up is to sand them down and paint them a color not decided yet, but instead of putting glass back in, I was thinking a mirror.
Do you have any suggestions on dealing with this? I used to teach making pressed flowers in the windows, so I’m pretty savvy on creating this design.

I just finished LOVE sign made out of pallet wood, and scraps of wood. Turned out great!!
