Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 471
Featuring new upcycled projects to make with complete tutorials!
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Happy spring Friday!
I actually mowed my lawn for the first time yesterday! While I’m not super stoked that the duty is officially a weekly thing again, I was excited with the anticipation of warmer temps and more sunny days! So, I’ll take it.
I have been bike riding daily which has been amazing! However my DIY last week was continuing to work on the guest room project, (I share early project peeks on Instagram Stories HERE if you care to follow along) AND collecting a new curbside found toy for the room I’ll be making over next week! And this is why my projects take forever. I keep adding stuff… can you relate?

I also did a DIY, sharing my secrets on how I achieve an authentic grain sack look with easy found supplies.
I personally am smitten with this ‘look’. It’s got a timeless vintage-feel and I’m loving how I can finally customize my own grain sacks with my stuff! (neutrals all the way please).
And I must say, everything lately is looking ‘spring’, including these lovely highlights from last week’s party…

Joy
Thanks for coming by Joy! I know… the trails are so amazing but especially so when you’ve been busy hibernating indoors for a little too long! Hope you get some sunshine in yourself!
Thanks Donna, for transforming me into a stenciler! I rarely stenciled until I got my hands on your creative line of stencils! Thanks for featuring the Laundry Bag! I am also anxious to try Ash on pillows or signs!
Well Carlene, it’s been my pleasure to see you outdo yourself each project you make. Goodness… you are a stencil machine. Thank-you! I really appreciate your creative takes so very much!
Thanks for featuring my Birds on a Branch dresser, Donna! I had a hard time parting with that one, but I can see it anytime at my mom’s;) Glad you’re getting to bike ride again! Not quite there yet here, but the birds are announcing it’s spring, and there’s not much white stuff left. Enjoy your weekend!
That dresser is to DIE for Lora! I’d have a hard time parting with it too…
Swooning over your pillow, Donna! It definitely has that vintage time-worn feel. Thank you so very much for featuring both my teapot windchimes and pastel painted books! I’m partying with you this morning, kleenex in hand while I battle a nasty cold and this brightened my day. xo Happy bike riding this weekend 🙂
What in the world?! Get well soon Marie! Second thought… there’s a few good shows on Netflix you may want to take in… haha! Thanks for bringing your projects over each weekend, they are some of my FAVS!
Thanks for the feature!
