Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 496
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hi all!
I’m so into fall right now it isn’t funny. All our leaves have gone crazy, making one of the prettiest nature paintings possible.
This past week I visited my sister who lives about an hour away from me, and we took in some nature walking. Once I check out the pictures, I should have one very pretty post sharing our mini adventure!
Which inspired me to write about my PAST visit to my sister’s HERE! Gotta start keeping up with all my adventures here!
We took a long awaited bucket list bike ride down a trail I’ve always wanted to do… and this pretty post was the result!
I wasn’t successful in getting a project done last week, so let’s peek at yours from last weekend’s party…

thank you so much, Miss Donna, for so graciously including my ‘scrap paper pumpkin art’ in your feature! and my GOODNESS what amazing company my little project is in – those map leaves! the teeny felted pumpkins! the piano harp *on the wall* made my jaw drop! (and lordy, i know exactly how monstrous a task hefting those babies is. we took two of them out of two baby grand piano carcasses to turn them into wine bars… ‘heavy’ doesn’t even come close!)
i don’t have a ‘junky’ project to share this week – the faux painted dollar store pumpkins i worked on don’t really qualify! LOL
…. but wait! i DO have a junky project to share this week!!! LOL
i found something old while i was looking for something else, and i put it with the newly-painted dollar store pumpkins. and now they’re JUNKY! so happy to join in again! ~ deb
Thank you so much for featuring our hollow concrete pumpkins Donna. Once I figured out how to create them they were so much fun to do
