Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 507
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
We did it guys! We made it through Christmas and hopefully you’re all enjoying some down time!
I am attempting to chill and not work, but when your work is your play, the lines drawn certainly do get fuzzy… nothing a few bike rides, movie theatre or coffee shop visits won’t cure though.
Do you follow me on Instagram or Facebook? I share lots of personal stuff such as my bike rides in stories.
Anyway, last week I was in high-productive mode and got out two good posts!
Scrap wood Christmas and winter trees by Funky Junk Interiors
These wood scrap trees happened and they happen to be my most fav project this Christmas! Easy too. With winter ideas as well.
Christmas Junk Home Tour by Funky Junk Interiors
AND shared my Christmas home tour! Better late than never right?! The home tour includes some new projects such as painted skis, a new coffee station sign, and pillows I haven’t blogged about yet. Come by for a visit!
I can always count on you to show up with wonderful inspiration each week though! In fact, it’s hard not to feature ALL of you! My task here is getting VERY difficult…
Regardless, here’s some amazing highlights of yours from last weekend’s party…

Vintage Christmas shadowbox with lights by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S
Ok, as if vintage by itself wasn’t enchanting enough, THIS little shadowbox idea is absolutely adorable and so original! I think it’s time to collect vintage boxes. Visit the link for all the details.
Wooden winter village assemblage by Kavto u avarn
No room for a traditional Christmas village? Me either! But I could do this! My goodness… this picture is exquisite. This isn’t a step-by-step tutorial post however upon a closer look, most of it can be figured out. There are other samples in this post too. SO beautifully done! I want one!
And one more! Check out how they also created an actual village boxes HERE. It’s stunning!

Thanks Donna for featuring my Ski Lodge Sign! Once again your stencils made a boring, outdated thrift shop item, awesome! Thanks.
