Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 529
.
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend, all!
What have you been up to this past week? In between bike rides, I took a massive haul to the dump from cleaning out my garage workshop (WOW what a difference that makes in added space!), selling some stuff on my fav FB bidding site (forever purging here!), but the most exciting of all?
How to DIY a screen door from scratch by Funky Junk Interiors
I finished up my screen door and wrote probably the biggest post on how to make it ever invented! haha Oh sheesh. But by golly, it’s up and it’s as fabulous as I had hoped it would be!
The golden ticket this round was getting a new tool toy to help me get the job done which I also share in the post. And I also used pet screen for the first time! Any working experience with that stuff? It’s so expensive, but let’s hope it lasts as my cats love to mountain (window screen) climb now and then…
I also bought a few new tools so I can hang a door for the first time from a door slab for my son. Egads… nothing like learning on the spot! I have visions of hanging vintage doors in my house so at least my dream plan there can materialize once I sorda know what I’m doing!
I’m bent on getting stuff done I don’t know how to do this summer and boy oh boy… the learning curve is deep, but so satisfying! Do you thrive on learning new things too? What do you want to learn?
Back to you, let’s re-visit last week’s party with some fabulous features of yours…
