Happy weekend friends!
This past week I shared a really exciting home reno project I finally got done that I waited at least 10 years for…
Replacing a PVC patio roof with a stunning plantation vibe by Funky Junk Interiors
I had the roof panels of my patio replaced, and it’s like this major dread weight has been lifted! I view this now gorgeous white ceiling from my kitchen windows so I’m thrilled at how white and beautiful the ceiling now looks!
But not all went as planned… so if you’re in the market for an affordable roof option, I suggest you give this post a read so you don’t do what I did!
That said… it’s the first time in 10+ years the roof doesn’t leak so I’m thrilled! Money well spent I say.
I’ve also been hammering away at the computer designing stencils for Christmas. I generally struggle with Christmas because it arrives on the heels of fall which I’m still in the mood for! But once a rhythm hits, a collection can come together quickly. Crossing fingers my ideas click in place by the end next week so I have plenty of time to make lotsa stuff!
And… you’re amazing projects are messing with me… I want to keep belting out fall projects now too thanks to some of these amazing ideas from last week’s party…

If you love plants but not the upkeep, this idea is truly a keeper… and makes the prettiest fall vases to boot! This post shares why the upkeep is SO simple… and easily done in minutes! Have you tried this?
Stenciled plaid fall pumpkin picture by Homeroad
Layering on glass for a picture? Imagine all the brilliant possibilities with this one! Plus… stenciling on glass is very forgiving, which is also featured in this awesome tutorial! Isn’t this the cutest?
Terra cotta pumpkin makeover by Homeward Found
If you have boring dollar store pumpkins, why not ‘terra cotta’ them up instead? This chalky effect is stunning and can be done on most any surface! Click the post link to learn how.
Pumpkin tea light votives by Interior Frugalista
With the earlier evenings now in play, what a cozy way to infuse an all natural fall in one fell swoop! Click the post to learn more.

Congratulations on Party # 550! You have one of the classiest blogs and I have enjoyed it for years!
I think your new roof looks great hopefully you won’t notice the loss of light too much.
Thank you for featuring my acorn garland, I had fun gathering and painting them.
Thank you for hosting ☻♥ Xoxo
We are in a winter wonderland over here clad in parkas, boots, and mittens. I hear the Okanagan got snow the other day, which is rare in October. Thank you so much, Donna, for the pumpkin tealight feature! Have a great weekend. xo
My pleasure Marie! LOVE that project! It feels early for snow, but maybe that’ll help get you in the festive mood… I’d like me some more of that! haha
thank you so much for including my ‘faux terra cotta’ paint project in your feature, Donna! it’s so ridiculously easy – i love easy! – and you’re right, it CAN make boring dollar store pumpkins look oh so much better.
i linked up one of my latest outdoor projects because i thought you’d want to see what i did with that orange fan housing AFTER i was done with it being a pumpkin! ~ deb
