Happy weekend!
The worst of our heatwave has officially passed, but it’s still hot. Which appears to be translating into me feeling tired all. the. time. You’d think more coffee could help! But not really. I think it’s safe to say, this west coast Canadian is made out of wax!
So I stayed inside my air conditioning this week and managed to share a post about the most incredible getaway place that you can ever imagine… that I stayed at!
An ultimate getaway in a castle!
Visit an unforgettable castle getaway with a story of my stay!
Imagine if you will, watching Bridgerton in a castle… that was hand-crafted from the ground up. This amazing gem is called Hazenut Inn located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada and it’s a MUST see, if not visit!
This post does one better that just a show and tell though… because I got to stay there! So I’m sharing my full stay experience and what it really feels like to stay in a place that is pure creativity within every square inch! It’s creativity overload at its best. Be sure to watch the videos at the end of the post, which will make you feel like you are there! Oh… and go see what I slept in… calmest sea I’ve ever sailed. 🙂
Sigh… I want to go back.
Anyway, I didn’t get anything else done because it was too hot! That’s my excuse anyway… so let’s check out this week’s upcycled project highlights from last week’s party while I patiently wait it out…

Yep-we just hit a hot streak, too. Yuck. Hard to be motivated. Thank goodness for A/C! Thanks for hosting, Donna!
My son and I used to go vacation in Hawaii quite frequently during summer. I often joked it was cooler there. But it’s no joke any longer. Canada is hotter than Hawaii! So weird.
Wow! Thank you for featuring two of my projects Donna! We have been having a heat wave here too. Yesterday it was 106!
