Greetings all!

This past week I found it really hard to stay indoors to write. I just want to go outside and plaaayyyy….. but I hunkered down during a couple of too-hot-for-outdoors days and got this neat project up!

When Hometalk challenged me to come up with flipping a dresser into a cupboard, I unburied a dresser I had in my storage area and made this cutie happen! LOVE the look, and this easy idea opens up a whole new world where a standard dresser is concerned! Isn’t this FUN?!

I also spent some time floating in the inflatable hot tub dialed down to 90 degrees. Sore from a challenging gardening day on Monday, the cooler water just erased all the tension! I think it worked better than soaking in super hot water, so 90 is my new standard! It allows you to stay in longer and I think that was the key.

Aside from that, I did some filming and kicked some time off too. We don’t have vacation time planned as it appears to be a working summer, so when we get tired, we just steal the day to rest up! We have a lovely little thrift store in town, nice places to eat and pretty trails to bike. Who really needs much more?
