Greetings all!
We are working through another VERY hot weekend! Each time we get hit, I wonder, is this the last for the year? Could be! So I’m doing my best to keep from complaining (when I have to go outside) and just stay comfy indoors!
But I am super thrilled I got this wonderful shoot in before the heat set in…
Virginia Creeper growing on garden arches
Growing Virginia Creeper on garden arches: tips with summer yard tour!
My incredible arbors I landed back in April are in their full summer glory and looking splendid! And after much reading, sounds like the best is yet to come in fall when they turn orange! I also included what the other one looks like, plus added a mini summer outdoor tour, so come on over and see what’s new… and why YOU may want one of these vines after you hear all the wonderful things it provides!
Not sure what my next project will be, but I’d sure love to still squeeze in washing all the windows and paint the house trim, even though it’s already near the end of August. How did that happen so quickly?!
Are you running a little behind your summer goals as well? What do you still want to get done before the end of summer?
Enough about me! Let’s now check out this week’s fabulous features from last week’s upcycled party, then onto the new linkups!
It was SO hard to stop at 5 features, so if you haven’t yet, go visit this party with 24 jaw dropping entries!

Wooden Tiki pumpkins by Homeward Found Decor
If you have some plywood handy, you too can paint your own tiki-style pumpkins or whatever design you wish! These tiki designs though are SO fun and unique! I love it when Deb goes off-the-rails with a theme, because the ideas always end up so out-of-the-box! Keep on tiki-ing on, Deb!
