Welcome to Party Junk 280 – an upcycled link party
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Hello friends!
Ready to party once again with your upcycled best?
Let’s roll! And to kick it off, here’s a few of my favs from last week…
Patriotic reclaimed wood star by ScavengerChic
Joan outdoes herself once again, creating a primitive star with patriotic flair. This is GORGEOUS!
And I know it’s Americana, but red and white can be Canadian too, no?
Chicken feeder succulent planter by Refresh Living
I’ve had my own chickens before, but I’d much rather use chicken feeders for a succulent planter! On a scale of 1-10, I want this 100000000 strength!
Cutting board Coffee sign, by A Vintage Green
Oh soooo clever! Yes, I realize my own Coffee Stencil was used for this project, but I’m featuring it for its cleverness. The burn marks appear to tell a story… once upon a time, a coffeeaholic overdid her daily dosage and this happened… no hand raised here or anything!
File cabinet to card file repurpose by Little House of Four
Metal file cabinets don’t inspire me. And then this came along. Card files do! This is a gorgeous redo.
Wine bottle planter by Artsy Va Va
My first impression was, is it a chandelier, or a planter? Both? Who cares! It’s awesome! I’d bet the light hitting it outdoors is fabulous!
One board message centre and GROCERY sign by Funky Junk Interiors
And a little shout out to a couple projects I whipped up out of 1 fence plank each. Eaaaasy and doesn’t take up much room at all. Now go get your groceries…

Thanks so much for the party Donna -hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Ooh, I love the star and chicken feeder planter! My sister in law actually bought one while we were at Lucketts spring market last weekend and now I wish I bought one too! Thank you so much for hosting and featuring my file cabinet makeover. Have a fabulous weekend 🙂
Once again I have to thank you for the feature. I’m pretty sure we have the same tastes. I too, was drooling over your flea market finds this week, I love love your message board and I’m still trying to figure out the wine bottle holder. How did she do that? Have a great weekend.
Hi Donna, my first time linking up here. I recently found your blog and have gone through quite a few of your posts already, love everything here! This is a great place for a new blogger to come to link up with other creative bloggers. Have a wonderful weekend! Kimberley 🙂
Welcome Kimberley! I hope you get lots of visits with your project! 🙂
Hey Donna – thanks for sharing the burned cutting board with your excellent stencil which I used to add the coffee cup and words. Love that stencil. Did three more cutting boards this week. Thanks for P 280.

Thanks for being such a great host and all the AMAZING ideas this gives!!
Happy Saturday!
Hi! I just came across your fab site! For years I’ve dreamed of becoming a furniture rehabber. Every time I watch Flea Market Flip, I want to jump through the TV and join. For now I’m a sewing upcycler. Do you host or know of any parties for fabric/sewing?
Hi Suzi, I don’t off hand, although most that host link parties allow all topics in. I’d visit a few that linked up to this party, then scroll down to the bottom of their posts.. they usually post where else they are linking up to. I hope you find a good fit!
Thanks, Donna. Will do! (Or maybe I’ll start my own. Thinking about it. . .)
Love your site! Do you host or know of any parties for sewing upcyclers?
