Welcome to Party Junk 290 – an upcycled link party

Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Hello once again, to another junk filled weekend!

We are now on our last week in Maui… where did the time go? I’ve only had one day of feeling a little homesick, but it only lasted for about an hour… I went to the beach to getoverit. 🙂 (now if I could ship my cats, I’d never come home)

I think for the most part, I felt pretty complete here, because my son was with me, AND I got to create while playing! Oh yes I did… I made two things for the condo.

But I had abit of an ajenda. I created stencils in hopes that I’d have a chance to make them work while here. The condo owner graciously accepted my projects, and here they are…

Would you like to offer me your vacation condo for some cool stuff? My email is / dream talk @ send me somewhere cool and I’ll make you something dot com. 🙂

I was SO happy to use the Maui part of this stencil to cement the authenticity of it all! Cute, and accessible way to grab your first morning kona… or brew.

Wishing for a little more hanging space, these signs turned towel hooks worked perfectly! Only problem is, they are always so loaded with towels, I can’t see the signs.. good problem to have!

Gotta dig those two backgrounds, huh? I’ll be pining for that once home.

Larissa was challenged to come up with an industrial themed project. Grabbing the most unlikely components, this amazingness resulted. It’s now a work of art!

Michelle had this cool card catalog in storage for a good year, when she finally came up with the perfect brainstorm. This two toned transformation PLUS will have you searching for one yourself!

No need to bust out a major credit card expenditure if you need an over the island kitchen light. An old ladder strung with lights will do! Love this, Lz!

Betsy collected these cute cannisters, initially planning labels for them. I’m glad she pushed that idea further. The addition of jewelry and handles… gorgeous!

Pretty antique washstand right? Wrong! This genius creation was a result of a mishmash of pieces coming together. Anne shows you how to build your own!

  1. LOVE your towel holders! Even on vacation, you sure know how to whip up the best stuff. Thanks so much Donna for featuring my dressed up film canisters.

  2. I would have a very hard time leaving that place, but there is no place like home. Enjoy your final week of memory making in Maui. BTW – Love your coffee sign!

  3. Donna
As usual – this Link Party just rocks.
And as an ex-Teacher Librarian . . . the upcycled Card Catalogue is my fave. It’s utterly gorgeous!
Now, I’m off to check out all the links 🙂
