Welcome to Party Junk 260 – reclaimed wood projects

Every Friday, 7PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Hello and a happy reclaimed wood kinda weekend to you!

It’s absolutely no secret that I’m a reclaimed woodaholic. I get it from anywhere I can, but most commonly, the good ‘ol lowly pallet.

But reclaimed wood can be mimicked or spotted in many different ways. Here are some fabulous ideas from last weekend’s linkup…

Card catalogue knockoff by Curb Alert featured on FunkyJunkInteriors.net

DIY Knockoff card file dresser from a thrift store find / Curb Alert

Tammy was head over heels in LOVE with card file styled furniture, but the price tag of 1k and up wasn’t gonna happen. So she created her own spin, with a thrift store dresser and wood sections to a tune of $60 total. Wow!

Cutting board wall art gallery by Finding Home Online featured on FunkyJunkInteriors.net

Cutting board wall gallery / Finding Home Online

Laura had this blank wall in the kitchen she didn’t really know what to do with. After digging around in her kitchen, she decided to simply hang up her cutting boards and create a wall gallery. I. LOVE. THIS. IDEA.

DIY faux butcher block by My Altered State featured on FunkyJunkInteriors.net

DIY faux butcher block on casters / My Altered State

Pauline has always loved the look of a butcher block accent in a kitchen. But being that she isn’t a foodie type (like me), she set about creating one out of 2x4s. Seriously… what? The stamping you see is original to the wood. COOL.

DIY reclaimed wood dining table by Four Corners Design featured on FunkyJunkInteriors.net

Reclaimed wood table / Four Corners Design

Amy was never crazy about her dining room table. Grabbing a metal iron base and reclaimed wood from her stash, she created this amazingly, easy to copy table that is out of this world gorgeous! You need to see the table in this room!

Reclaimed wood wall treatment in a workshop by FunkyJunkInteriors.net

Reclaimed wood wall in a workshop / Funky Junk Interiors

Welcome to my single car garage turned workshop! It’s still in progress, but lots of progress has been made. I desired to celebrate reclaimed wood in a special way. Hence, a funky wall treatment was created, which also offers stability for hooks and shelves. Come take the so far tour!
