Welcome to Party Junk 242 – Unique feature walls
Every Friday, 7PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Welcome back to another riveting episode of your upcycled best!
I kinda felt in the mood to target cool wall treatments, as I’m about to embark on a bathroom wall. I also need to do my laundry room. And my son’s room. And the garage…
Heh.. I have lots to do. So let’s take a look to see what others are doing with feature walls… it may help spur me into action!
How to create old brick wall advertising / AKA Design
Shannon’s always been fond of loft interiors, with soaring aged brick walls in particular. So rather than moving to a loft, she designed her own brick wall, WITH advertising! This is gorgeous… super great tutorial! I’d love to try something like this.
Removable plank wall / Perfectly Imperfect
Shauna desired to create a feature wall with reclaimed wood, however it needed to be removable due to a door located behind the wall. This is so clever… the wall isn’t even attached! And don’t you love those colours?
12″ planked wall / The Shabby Creek Cottage
When Gina redid her bedroom, she created a feature wall with 12″ planks. Wow! I just LOVE the large scale of this! Her post goes into detail on the intentional gaps and paint colour tricks.
Book page wallpaper / Knick of Time
This post is really about that gorgeous headboard turned coat rack, but that wall still spoke to me. This wall is gorgeous and HERE IS A TUTORIAL THAT SHOWS YOU HOW.
Board and batten attic wall for towels / Funky Junk Interiors
Desiring loads of space to hang towels and clothes, this floor to ceiling attic wall treatment was created as a means to support the hooks. This is so easy to do!
